Great place to stay on a working farm. Room was spacious with a good kitchenette. There is a small, well stocked store to buy food/drinks onsite which is helpful as the location is not near shops. Location is great being right near the walking and cycling trails.
We have just left today afyer a lovely relaxing stay at High Paradise Farm
Clean lovely cottage we slept really well
Wifi was really good
We had no problems
We stayed in corn room and would love to book a rtn trip
Cosy little place for a couples weekend away. The fire was pre lit which made it extra cosy and warm on a very wintery weekend. A few cobwebs and spiders were spotted, and the pillows could do with being replaced but all in all a lovely little place.
Wonderfully quirky stay on high paradise farm. We stayed in August and the rooms were still cold, so we lit the wood fire and snuggled in! Al fresco night was great and went to bed with full tummy’s.! Overall this is a great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to return albeit with correct clothing. Eg warmer and not afraid to get a little dirty
Brilliant stay in the North Yorkshire Moors. Came late after long drive so the honesty shop for supplies was a blessing rather than find a pub or shop. Great breakfast from the tea room and Winston the Lhasa Apso loved his new doggie friends. Thank you Ginny, will come again when less rushed!
What a beautiful unique place hidden in the North Yorkshire countryside. Run by a lovely lady called Ginny who was so welcoming. She explained everything about the room, facilities and local walks. Loved the honesty shop. Had a great number of things to choose from, from hiking essentials (for sore feet!), to fresh eggs and pies. The room was perfect and very unique. So cosy that we fell asleep on the sofa! Loved waking up to the sound of the sheep, goats and geese. Would highly recommend a trip. We’ll definitely be back.
Absolutely loved this place. Lovely walking area, nice to sit in the courtyard on an evening. Could hear the farm animals in the morning, lovely clean area. The little shop is great too.
Unfortunately, the bed was a little on the small side and it was also extremely uncomfortable and neither of us managed much sleep. We were also both wary of climbing the stairs due to how steep they are. All personal preference. Otherwise extremely accommodating and welcoming. Thanks.
I arrived very late, just making the cut-off of 10:00 PM. The room was open and available with a note of explanation as to the reason for no one being available to receive me, with this being a working farm I fully understood. Everything was in order and I was given access to the Farm Shop on a TRUST basis. A very nice lasagne and a bread roll was retrieved from the freezer and cooked on the kitchen equipment, very nice.
I departed early the next morning, fresh and ready for the day.
Thank you :-)

A fairly average experience. Host was friendly and greeted us on arrival. Breakfast advertised as additional with a surcharge on the website but was told our room was self catered and that they only offered butties from 9am on arrival.
Room was nice with log burner but didn't feel like paradise or luxury. Things like the upstairs being all bathroom with no door so you can hear everything downstairs.
The room didn't feel well put together with a dead wasp in the shower door guard, a very loose shelf on the bathroom mirror, nails sticking out of the wall, holes in the bathroom lino, a very insecure feeling skylight and all rooms attach to a main hall so privacy isn't something you get much of as well as you being able to hear every movement in the adjacent rooms.

Back off beyond down narrow winding lanes unlit at night so not for the timid driver. As we took our grandchildren 4 & 6 yrs old with us the 4 bedded Wild Goose Nest was ideal, clean albeit the floor was flag so with the best will in the world not grit free and not the best for walking on bare footed.
Absolutely delightful stay. Definitely plan your meals if you will be in at dinner time, but the staff is delightful and the property is nestled in a quiet stretch of gorgeous walkable countryside. No doubt it is the luck of the draw if other guests are loud, but I had a lovely and restful stay and a killer breakfast and met some amazing doggos.
Ginni was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere in the room was wonderful, they had lit the fireplace prior to our arrival and the room was toasty and perfect. We had to leave before the tea room officially opened, but they let us get coffee and cake early. Would stay there again, and would bring friends!

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
The location was abit remote
The room was full of flies when entering
The bed needs a new mattress as you both roll into center
And you have to take your own bedding towels ect and cook your own breaky as well
I did know 3 days before going

Another wonderful stay in Paradise - cannot recommend this gorgeous spot enough. It is isolated, make sure you bring your supplies with you, but with cooking and refrigeration facilities provided it’s perfect. Rural bliss, a walkers/cyclists dream, switch off from the stresses of normal life and relax! Wi-fi available though of course, so you can still keep up if you need to. Ginni is a perfect host, help if needed, always with a smile, but left to yourself if you prefer. A gorgeous tea room, loads of outside space in good weather, cosy fireside cuppas if not! Fabulous fabulous fabulous retreat from the world in stunning surroundings.
No sink in the kitchen not stated. No cleaning stuff. Place was dirty the floor not cleaned since for ever. The shower full of mold! Some of the glasses were put away dirty. No one to check you in self check in but not easy to know this !

The property was very clean and felt covid safe. The ordered breakfast provisions were plentiful and good quality. The open tread staircase to the bathroom was very steep and open on one side. Amazing walking in the area, but the road up is very narrow and steep which makes arriving in a vehicle interesting!!
Lovely very clean room, Kitchenette with everything you need. Great communication prior to arrival. Didn’t visit tearoom because I was out each day - next time! A welcome, tranquil 3 day break for me

The location is on the Cleaveland Way and as such is fantastic as stopping point. The tea room and court yard is charming and food good which serves hot and cold food and drink. Breakfast if ordrred was self cook but with one small frying pan and basic hob slowed down our morning walk alot. Plus as we stayed and paid for two nights was a bit upset at day two's breakfast not being provided. Plus communication is poor, called twice and made to feel like it was an incovienience, have sent 3 emails but had no reply either before or after stay only automated ones. Room cleanliness could have also been better. Recommend using camp site and saving what money whilst getting same experience.
Great stay, perfect location for the Cleveland Way
Absolutely lovely stay for 1 night whilst walking the Cleveland Way, perfect location, quirky and just great. Ginni left us an abundance of food for our evening meal and our breakfast which we cooked ourselves on the little stove. Delicious.
