Great for multiple families
We absolutely loved the space! Great for big groups/multiple families/kids. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed use of the fire pit, the bbq grill and walking the property/mushroom hunting. Check-in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Family ski weekend
A great location for a family ski weekend. A very short drive (maybe 3 minutes) to the slopes, and a nice cozy cottage to come back to at the end of the day (or any time in between when the lift lines get too long). The cottage was well equipped and comfortable for our group of 7. We would love to visit in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area as well.

Cozy and clean
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The hosts were so easy to communicate with. The cabin has plenty of comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, great locations and clean. We will be back!

Second time is even better
This is our second year celebrating the holidays with family and we couldn’t be more pleased. It’s so comfortable and inviting. With our large group ranging in ages 8-78 it’s perfect with the two living areas (we rent both sides), two kitchens and plenty of seating. Comfortable beds and pillows along with extra blankets for snuggling with. We look forward to more get togethers here!! It’s perfect!

Another Great Thanksgiving
This was an our second TG here. Arrived to find the firewood truck dumping off a load of wood for the fire pit. We are a family of 12 and had both units so plenty of space to spread out and the children and teens could do their thing while the adults did theirs. Having two kitchens for a large group was perfect for cooking TG dinner and breakfasts. Heating system kept the place cozy and beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Just across the road is a trail so did a long walk into Crystal Mountain to the top of the slopes where they had just started blowing snow. We booked for next TG so that’s a good recommendation!

This place is GREAT!
When they say "cozy" bedrooms, they mean it. There isn't a closet to be found. Lots of hooks though. The property was perfect for us and 10 teens/adults age 17-21. We brought our golf cart and they had a blast riding around on the property for hours on end. The house was perfect with more than enough bedrooms and beds. I highly recommend it.

Family Lodging for Wedding
Plenty of comfortable space inside, cozy and homey. Great outdoor bon-fire space and both propane & charcoal grills. Loved the propane fireplaces, sectional sofas, island/bar space and extra bathrooms! We had 8 adults and 5 kids. There was enough space to spread out and have separate areas when needed, but great gathering spots too! Loved it!

Great Time & Priceless Family Memories!
Ed - we truly enjoyed your vrbo home; it truly worked out perfectly for our group with both sides and to be able to move the wall between us and to have 2 kitchens was AWESOME! The decor in the house is so nice too! We had many moments at the bonfire with our entire family each night. What a great Labor Day weekend and we THANK YOU. The house is wonderful! Family Vacation
The house and its large property provided an ideal setting for our large family gathering, accommodating 10 adults and 4 kids with ease. Its layout was perfect, allowing parents and children to be on one side, while adults without children had their space on the opposite side. The kitchens were well-stocked with all the cooking essentials we required. Considering its vastness, the cleanliness of the house was commendable and met our expectations. Inside, the home was tastefully decorated with a cozy ambiance. Most of our time was spent visiting outdoors, drawn by the ample seating and beauty of the property, especially under the shade of the large trees. We took advantage of both the charcoal and propane grills, to enjoy our freshly caught king salmon from Lake Michigan. Firewood was readily available, allowing for relaxing evening campfires. Nestled in a prime location, the house offers easy access to a plethora of local activities. The unanimous agreement from our family was clear - we'd love to return!!

Another Great Stay
We have been staying at this location for the past 5 years and we love it. The home is well kept, plenty of space for everyone. We have 10-12 adults in the home and we had plenty of room. Wonderful summer vacation stay
This was a great stay the home was easy to access with great directions provided. The home was totally equipped with everything (with exception of a washer and dryer!) The hosts were available to answer any questions and address any concerns. It was a great place for our large group of 16 and kid friendly. Highly recommend!

Great Family Home
We had a large group in town for a wedding and were looking for a place that could accommodate all of us - and our age range was from 8 months to 80+. This house was exactly what we needed. Everyone had a comfortable room and believe it or not, we had 6 open beds still! The house was well stocked with the things you always forget to bring - like coffee filters, utensils, etc. and there was nothing missing. Host was very communicative and very accommodating when we left because we had lots of different flights and airports to get to. Plenty of parking, great outside seating and the inside was perfect for our large group. Would 100% stay here again when in the area.

40th Birthday Celebration - Rented both units
Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay! We rented both units which allowed us to host our family and friends. We also rented the property next door within walking distance which added to the fun. The property is close to Crystal Mountain making this an excellent location! Everyone had such an amazing time, and we were very happy with how it all turned out. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property, and for your continued communication. We will be back!

Your group was amazing. It’s a unique property in that it sleeps 20 with both units and that another lodge is available within walking distance through the woods, providing room for another 20 people. We welcome your group back and hope you make it an annual tradition.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay in Unit B for a ski weekend. We were so close to Crystal Mt, but yet we had our own big space! We like to cook in but don’t always remember every little item. This rental had us covered! The kitchen had many supplies and dishes. We had everything we needed. The hosts had prompt communication and willing to accommodate us. Everything was clean and we felt very safe. We recommend this rental for others!

Family Christmas
The property was perfect for a family gathering. Super close to Crystal Mountain. Stocked with every kitchen item you could imagine. We have stayed in a lot of different places in north Michigan and this was our favorite for a larger gathering.

Ideal Location for Our Family Thanksgiving
Conveniently located close to M115 and Crystal Mtn. Very clean and well equipped for cooking a large Thanksgiving dinner and big breakfasts. Beds were very comfortable and heating system kept us just the right temperature. We were so impressed, we booked for next year’s Thanksgiving already.

Great place to stay!
We had stayed here once before many years ago. We came back and found it to be as good as it was then. We like to go jeeping and this is a great spot with trails all around. Great parking available and easy access to a gas station down the road. Plus, with the amenities of Crystal Mountain it's an overall great place to stay. The only small negative is that you pay a cleaning fee but are asked to do more than the basics of cleaning up after yourself such as empty all the trash, strip the beds, start the dishwasher, etc.

Fantastic space for bigger family/friend groups
This house was an amazing getaway place. So many rooms and beds. Beds and linens were comfortable; so many pillows available. Pots and pans were really high quality. Home was decorated so nicely, good furniture and kitchen space. Bath towels are on the small side, so bring your own if you like bigger. Fire pit set up was great. Lots of space for kids to play and explore outside. There is a shooting range next door, to be aware of. We were not bothered by it in the slightest, but didn’t let our kids explore on that side. Only a small market locally so get groceries before arriving. We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Cotton Creek Farm and Traverse City during our stay.

Grate location for a golf getaway.
8 senior friends had plenty of space and comfort with the 6 bedrooms and 2 loft areas. Well stocked with everything we needed and great communication with owners. Close to Crystal Mountain and Crystal Lake golf (Champion Hills a gem value and course) and nice local places for breakfast and lunch/dinner..

It fit the requirements.
6 adults that were in the area to play golf. We used one unit for gathering but used both units for sleeping. Be advised that none of the bathrooms, there is one on each floor, are not connected to bedrooms. Each unit is identical and decorated very nicely.

Had a wonderful vacation
Had the space and atmosphere we needed for a great family get together. Kitchen well equipped for cooking to serve our family of 19 (5 households) good outdoor spaces for lawn games and bonfires and Smores.

Great family vacation spot
We were looking for a suitable place for a family vacation with several of our adult children, their spouses and children - ranging from babies to teens. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful corner of Northern Michigan. Loved Crystal Lake, Beulah Village, Point Betsie lighthouse, Frankfort, and Lake Michigan beaches. The kids had fun playing outside. We rented units A and B which provided ample space for our group of 13. For future guests note that the lofts (on each side) are on the same level as the other bedrooms so there is not a lot of separation.

There was dead bugs on walls, trash under beds and undergarments, not clean bathrooms and the pillows were stained yellow. The grill wasnt working. The house had a weird smell. We were seven people and there was not enough towels and the ones that they did have were suppose to be white and they were a stained and smelled weird.

We should have know based on Sal Accardo's reviews as a renter that he was going to leave a bad review. This renter stayed 7 nights and on night 6 sent an email with a laundry list of items he was not pleased with. Indirectly asking for a refund. We have always had stellar reviews and ALWAYS address any issues that may arise. The previous renter was contacted, to see if they had any of the bogus issues, their comment "If we could have given 10 STARS we would have".

Ample space in a well stocked property in a great locaction for our plans
This property is set on a wooded lot with ample parking. The property was clean, well stocked with dishes, linens, utensils and cookware. There is lots of room. We slept eight adults and one toddler with room to spare. We attended the Beer and Brat Festival and played golf on two nearby courses. We brought lots of food and the two refrierators came in very handy! The living space is well appointed with an island and stools, dining table that seats eight, a generous sectional and four bathrooms. There is plenty of outdoor seating, stools and chairs and a charcoal and gas grill, which we used multiple times. I would stay here again. The owners were helpful and responsive and provided thorough instructons.

Great place for a 30th birthday and disc golf weekend.
nicely nestled near crystal mountain, this place is great in the spring for affordable space near a lot of great disc golf spots. Being in range of traverse city is nice too.
