“It was great ”

“The overall stay was great. The house was very clean and close to the trail system so we were able to ride sxs during the day and enough room we could all hang out at night. I do think it’s important to note the bedroom situation isn’t as described. This is listed as 6 bedrooms, which I did ask about before arrival and was told it’s 4 bedrooms, 2 of the bedrooms are divided by a wall; therefore creating 4 spaces. I was told upstairs had 1 king, 3 Queens, and a full over twin bunk. In reality……

“I hope to buy this place one day if only we could afford this as a permanent home this place makes me and my family want to relocate so bad it’s always the most peaceful place always bring me and my family closer and more connected from the outside world . ”

“What a beautiful home and setting! A spacious 4 bedroom home sitting above the beautiful Chippewa river! Comfortable beds, a well equiped kitchen and a very nice outdoor space that included a fire ring! Angie was a wonderful host and maintained contact from the moment I booked with her! We visited wineries, parks, a mansion, waterfalls and other sites within a short drive of the house! I would highly recommend the Codax Retreat for a very nice get-a-way!”

“This place offered the perfect getaway from the city, and I loved having the kayaks available for use! The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook. The outdoor area down by the river was peaceful despite the nearby highway, and when the water level is low earlier in the day you can walk the kayaks down to the water. Note that the current gets much stronger in late afternoon and water level rises, so don’t get stuck paddling home upstream. Learned that the hard way!”
