Nice hotel but noisy around pool.
"We wanted to relax by the pool. However, the hotel insisted on playing music all day long. We wanted quiet. I checked the entire outdoor area from the pool to the sea and speakers had been mounted everywhere on purpose. There was no quiet area. I asked for help and the attendent said that it was ..."

The town is old and quite rundown with few decent places to eat or facilities.If you have a car, there is plenty to see and do around the lake.

Unfortunatly we were not on an organized tour, and we were not able to walk for long times. We did manage to hire a taxi for a morning to travel to some local sites, which proved to be very interesting. We liked Tiberias town very much and enjoyed

Buy food from the supermarket to keep costs down or go to Little Tiberias for good food. Alternatively there are the ubiquitous shawarma and Falafel places on the main drag. Start early to avoid painful traffic
