“It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.”

“The A frame is simply and beautifully built with clear plexiglass roofing, a conventional door w/ windows and another window above the bed's headboard. Lots of Light and very clean, The bed is really comfortable. A small dresser inside keeps kitchen items ( coffee mugs, plates, silverware etc ) out of the elements. “We felt very comfortable in this sweet little cottage in the woods. It’s only a short distance off Hwy 1, but far enough for no traffic noise. The location makes it easy to travel to any of the beautiful peninsulas. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, and we felt like we found a treasure renting here. Also, Amanda (the Host) is so easy to work with - any questions we had were answered promptly and she has a wonderful personality. We weathered the storm one day and night as hurricane……

“Lovely, updated two-bedroom house in a beautiful setting! Situated half-way between two Acadia National Park destinations - the more popular (and more crowded) Mt Desert Island/Bar Harbor and the beautiful (less crowded) Schoodic Peninsula. The house was clean and well-cared for with newer appliances and the convenience of a washer and dryer. Check-in and out was simple and Amy made herself available but we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Would definitely stay again!”

“We loved everything about this rental. It is private, immaculately clean, and horses! It was so quiet and relaxing to watch the sunrise with coffee out on the deck and horses grazing in the paddocks. This home is perfectly situated to be close to Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, Schoodic Point (even better) and yet distant from crowds and heavy traffic. Driving past the Wyman Blueberry fields was amazing! The host was so helpful and we were so grateful for the Schoodic Point recommendation!”

“I loved how quiet and isolated this property was! You could hear a pin drop when standing outside. There weren't even any birds to wake you in the morning. The wife and I stayed there for our anniversary week and enjoyed every minute of it. Week cooked in the nice little kitchen and grilled outside once. On the one day it rained, we stayed in all day and streamed movies or watched ones from their small DVD collection. The furniture was very comfortable. Even I at 6'4" slept fine in the smaller……

“The cabin was nice and in a beautiful location. Not a far drive to all the attractions. Our only complaint would be the heating system. When it kicked on it made a very high pitched sound that would continue while it ran. It woke us up almost every night due to its proximity to the bedroom. This may not bother most people but we are both light sleepers and feel its worth mentioning. The waterfront is beautiful. We spent alot of time enjoying the view. The bed/mattress was just ok.
