A beautiful building that has been sympathetically updated. The beds are very hard which is fine if that’s what you like. The view from our room was rather unpleasant looking into what looked like derelict buildings that were actually lived in. Although there are nice parts of Tirano it is quite run down which is probably not helped by the tour companies picking up tourists at the end of the Bernina train line and ferrying them away to other cities instead of them injecting much needed cash into the area

Great location, historic building. However, breakfast was sad. No more pastries with an hour of breakfast service left. I didn’t see anything being restocked. Beds were hard, and so were pillows. Room was dusty. Bathroom door would not close. We asked for an hour later check out and were told it would be 50 euros!!!

What a great modern, eco friendly hotel. Loved the design - a collection of old traditional buildings fitted out with modern interiors and comforts. Wide selection of foods for breakfast - you won’t go hungry!

The air conditioning does not flow in the rooms correctly it is simply a fan running and is extremely stuffy inside the room when advised the front desks they said they would check it out and their resolution was to open the bathroom window which let in damp air entering the room causing both myself and husband to wake up with stuffy nose and soar throat. The air in the hall was much more refreshing than inside the rooms. The mattress lacked luxury or comfort and the biggest disappointment was the the modern bright green decor in the room when the balance of the hotel had a rustic mid evil vibe On The positive side the hotel building and grounds are beautiful and would recommend spreading this theme through out the balance of the hotel

Beautiful restoration on this lovely property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would also recommend the Trattoria Valtellinese which is nearby. Lovely homemade pasta.

Lovely little hotel, newly renovated and an ideal place to stay as we we’re catching the Bernina Express in the morning. Very comfortable. if you had any mobility concerns or needs the shower was large and had a bench built in. Very nice touch, along with an elevator for those of us with suitcases.

This was our favorite hotel during a two-week trip and possible ever. The Curt di Clement perfectly blends the building's history with contemporary nod to eco-friendly design, with special touches for bikers and hikers while also being accessible. What an amazing story and legacy to the family who owned it for many generations. The hotel is fully eco-friendly including a special parking garage for bike! The breakfast includes a juicer where guests can create their own smoothies from an array of fruits and vegetables straight from local gardens. I'd consider another trip her just to stay at the Curt di Clement.

Everything was so good! Like I want to go back to our room even now. Easy to find the hotel from the train station, and there're many places to eat and see. Room was spacious enough and comfortable. We could see the attic of traditional Italian old building, it was so charming.

The hotel was very convenient although finding it was a bit difficult. It is a bit off putting as the hotel is surrounded by derelict buildings. The staff were very helpful and attentive and really good. However, some of the hotel guests are not that great as they stay chatting in the breakfast room which was quite small. We had our breakfast and they were still there, very inconsiderate.

A truly wonderful hotel located about 10 minutes walk from the station and set in a lovely area within a stone's throw to the historic centre. I throughly recommend booking now because by the time you come back to book the room may not be there - we were very lucky to get the last room. What makes this place special is that the building has been restored to it's former glory so much of the charm and 'feel' has been retained whilst also providing luxury accommodation. I also have to mention the wonderful Michaela & Betty who were really fantastic - they were extremely helpful and provided a wealth of information and a super recommendation for a restaurant that's just around the corner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We arrived by train and the location is not too far from the station. Fortunately we were able to walk there. It’s an incredibly beautiful, eco friendly hotel. Very clean, quiet & modern room and bathroom. Staff are so kind, and breakfast was perfect. There are several very nice restaurants you can walk to in the evening as well. Kudos to Michela & Betty as they were so helpful. They also work with a taxi company, Giordano & Sara, which were a joy. Definitely recommend! Thank you

We got the suite and it was an amazing stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious and comfortable and we were sad to go after only one night! We took the Bernina Express from Chur and thought we's stay the night in Tirano to get a glimpse of what Italy is like. We had our own balcony with flowers and it just felt so magical staying there. The staff recommended a great restaurant in walking distance and we had a wonderful dinner outside under the stars. My husband and I will never forget this stay!

I really liked the this proponerte location because it was in close distance to the Bernina rail station. It was very eco friendly and the staff were very friendly, I got there after hours but they made a way for me to get my room key to me.

This is a beautifully restored building very close to the train station and a variety of restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. The day we were there. They started about 15 minutes early which was great we’re catching an early train.

This was more of an experience than a hotel stay. The hotel is a renovated ancient building with all the rustic exterior and courtyards preserved while the inside is updated with modern comforts. The town of Tirano is a joy to discover on foot with something beautiful and unexpected around every corner. There are some slight negatives. The roads are extremely narrow and poorly marked and the offsite parking for the hotel is several windy streets away and limited. Also, the beds were hard and there was only one pillow and one duvet per person which made sleeping less comfortable than in other places we stayed. High marks go to the included breakfast with a nice selection and quality baked goods as well as the helpful front desk staff who answered all our questions. One recommendation they gave for dinner, PIAZZA PARRAVICINI had fantastic food and an atmosphere that couldn’t be beat. Overall, I would recommend the experience and had a memorable time.

What a pleasant surprise!! Very nice, clean, recently updated room. Staff super friendly and helpful. Good location to catch the Bernina Express the following morning, although we wish we would have more time in the morning to enjoy the included breakfast - a real juicer with fresh vegetables and fruits, and local fresh honey were both some excellent and unique options we found here!

Air conditioning temperature is controlled by the hotel to 24°(75° F) or above, and the outside temperature was 27-32° (80-90° F), so it was impossible to cool off or sleep comfortably. The breakfast buffet was ran out of eggs 75 minutes before breakfast ended and asking for more was treated as a major inconvenience.
