「La Lanterna is a modern 3* hotel located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo, about a 15 min walk from the town centre. It has a good public restaurant, a separate breakfast room and a swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable…my bathroom had a whirlpool bath. The staff were friendly and the food good. There were a couple of niggles: neither of our rooms had a working safe and the fridges had been removed, which was a pity.

「Excellent service and hospitality in a wonderful old castle on top of the hill. The city square offered the best pizza-place and evening entertainment in the square with cover band playing ABBA-hits. We will definitely come back and visit again!」
