“We had a very enjoyable stay. Peaceful, quiet, tranquil. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Met with longtime friends for a getaway. The place isn't fancy, but we weren't looking for fancy, just a quiet hideout. Would stay again.”

“No housekeeping service. No microwave. People actually live here. Hard to get help from the front desk when they were around. Half the facility isnt even open.”

“This is a real gem. It is small but very accomodating. Love seeing the families enjoy themselves and seeing everyone walking their dogs. Very friebdly. Wish it hadn’t rain but our daughter still had a great time at the game room and the free ice cream. Wish the ac worked better in the game room amd bathrooms but they were not terrible so I still give them a good review. We stayed in the apprentice cabin and it was very nice and comfortable-exept the queen bed could have used a spring base……

“Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay.”

“Seriously, don't think twice about booking this property! It's in a beautiful, quiet setting and about an hour drive from countless attractions. We went to Williamsburg, short 45 minute drive through beautiful country. The property is exceptional! The host has thought of literally everything and well appointed. Looking forward to returning soon!”

“Perfectly clean and comfortable but no privacy. Pet friendly but neighbor allowed their dog to come to fenced yard at all hours which made my 1 dog bark. Not sure if neighbor was owner. Great fenced yard but as I stated, no privacy. Homes close by even in backyard. Fine for families who want to visit from out of town visiting Busch Gardens/Water Country and CW as backyard is entertaining and home is affordable. Just not what we were looking for. Photos and description made us feel it would be……

“Our grandchildren came for several visits and overnights. It was great. The cottage is very user friendly and was quiet. The surrounding areas uncluding paddock was a bonus for our Shetland sheepdogs. The walking trails were fine. We had a fantastic stay.”

The house was perfect and far exceeded expectations, and the property checked every box. The owners pride and attention to detail is unparalleled and show is all aspects of the property. We have traveled to many places and this is by far the absolute best. There is nothing that we wanted or needed while there and loved the solitude. We can’t wait to return……

“This was a last minute trip with my family on Mother's Day weekend! The property was wonderful. The room was amazing for the cost. Spacious. The staff was friendly. The room and grounds had everything we needed. Only thing is that it's a little farther Way from Busch Gardens than we thought, but that has nothing to do with the grounds. We will stay longer next.time ”

“Check-in was great. She was detailed and friendly and told us about the property. Beds were a bit firm and I could feel one of the bed coils but not enough to bother me. Their pillows were overly filled and uncomfortable. Bathroom ok, yes outdated but it serves the purpose. Room was big and spacious. Free breakfast included but we did not get to check it out because our room was so far from the breakfast area and wanted to sleep in more. Reading previous reviews about breakfast didn't feel……
