We stayed here to have access to Ueno station via subway and be able to reach Asakusa via transit. The room was small but comfortable as is typical for hotel rooms in Japan. Breakfast was amazing with lots of Japanese food options and some western options like cereal and pastries. There surrounding area was quiet and felt safe, though there wasn't much around in terms of shops and dining options. Overall, would recommend if you would like to stay somewhere quiet.

Hotel room was very clean and the size was comfortable for two. Breakfast was delicious with many varieties and the menu appeared to be the same daily. The Iriya metro station is about 3 min walk. There were many excellent restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We would like to return this hotel if we are in Tokyo again.

Very clean and convenient. Small room but i dont mind because i only needed it to sleep as we spent most our time sightseeing. I love how the lobby had all the necessary toiletries.

Only 5 min walk from Ishiya station. The area is quite quiet, not many choices for restaurants! A good choice for staying at a location where you could catch early trim at Ueno Station which is just one stop from Ishiya! The hotel price in Ueno would be much higher!

The location is convenient. Nearest station only 3 min walking distance. 25 min walking to Ueno and Asakusa. Save a lot of money on transport. Although the room is small but the facility is complete like kettle. They also provided free drink and free supper ( local food). Worth to visit again.

Good basic hotel for a clean and comfortable place to sleep. Not very spacious and the pillows were horrible, but otherwise it worked well for our family of four using two twin rooms. Used the laundry facilities and there was a clog in the drain, leading me to flood the laundry room several times. Employee who came to help was very apologetic and helpful cleaning up the mess. Great location within a 2 minute walk to the subway and several great bakeries.

The hotel is very close to food such as yoshinoya and matsuya. However the highlight of the stay would have to be the Ochazuke supper provided at the hotel between 9pm and 11pm. This is a lovely experience which really sets this hotel apart from the others!

Just stayed here Oct. 3-6. In All the 3 hotels we’ve stayed while in Japan. This is the hotel very tight and limited space. It’s Limited space already they added chairs that barely you can sit because no space at all. With all your luggage’s we had medium size luggage the room is very small. How much more if large luggage? Big No and Not recommended.

Too small for family of four.

The hotel was nice, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Despite the ad saying it sleeps 4 the room was way too small for a family of four. There was one double bed and one single bed. We opted to purchase the buffet breakfast and only found out after booking that this did not include the kids.
