“This place is everything I could hope for in a vacation rental. It was meticulously clean, well stocked, and located in such a quiet and beautiful part of Wisconsin. There was an abundant amount of clean towels and blankets. The house rules and checkout process were minimal unlike other places we have been. And the owner was only a text message away and a real person which is so much better than trying to communicate with a third party house managing service. Our family came for the purpose of……

“We enjoyed this cabin in spite of it’s fairly remote location. The deck, front porch, sunroom and fire pit gave it a homey and relaxing feel. The beds were very comfortable, and there were nicely renovated bathrooms. The property is a bird lovers’ paradise, with multiple feeders in the yard.”

The hot tub was an added bonus for a few of our group. One slept next to the fireplace on our last night. The only downside we had, and thats no fault of anyone but mother nature, was it can be difficult to find on the backroads of Tomah in a snow storm. They did a great job keeping us plowed out. “We had a wonderful time at this Castle Rock Lake property. The view is amazing and the house was very clean. The extra sunroom is a great space and there was plenty of room for 6 adults. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and items for cooking your own meals. Don was very responsive when we had questions. The fire pit was perfect as it was nice and cool when we visited. “We were happy that the owner continued to plow the driveway during the huge snowstorm. We had to be out on the road by 7:30 AM on Saturday and the plow guy got us done early. Beds were very comfortable. The unit has definitely seen some ware. Kitchen island face is coming apart. One of the fallout of a sleepers when in couch form Is very broken down to the point where you sink into the couch. The table and chairs are very rickety. The hot tub was so nice on these cold days!
