「We booked via expedia. Since we expect ourselves to arrive later than check in hours, we have requested expedia to contact the park for late check in arrangement. The reply from expedia is asking us to contact hotel directly. We arrived the park 18:01 and the reception is closed. Without receiving any safe box code from expedia, we stand in front of the gate with wind and rain. Fortunately, we called and left message to the park’s after hours mobile, and Belinda (the property manager)...

「Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400...

Checking in after work on a Monday was poorly timed- My check in was commensurate with ten people ordering after-work drinks. 「The room was spotless, the receptionist was lovely and very informative. The grounds themselves were absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Easy to get to and parking close to the rooms. 「Upon arrival at the motel we were concerned , it is currently undergoing major reconstruction and renovation, this is not mentioned in the motels site listing on Expedia. It looks like a demolition site and we were not even sure if we had the right place.
