“We expected a balcony but didn't have one and hotel was full so couldn't change room. Room very small. There wasn't any details in the room about information of the hotel.
Service at the bar was slow, however prices very reasonable.
We were shocked at the litter and dog mess surrounding the Parador hotel and castle. On walking down to Jaen town - the route was quite disgusting!
We stayed three nights and understand know why most people stay one night.”

“This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain.
The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark.
We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery.
We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge……

“The hotel is surrounded by nature and ideal for people who enjoy peace and quiet. Also ideal for those travelling with pets. The restaurant serves good food and hotel staff where very friendly. Our room was clean and had comfy beds. On-site parking available. Only downside was an 'occasional' stench in the room from the drains.”
