“There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. “What we loved about Villa Anna: The Staff: We had some trouble finding out when we would arrive. The Villa Anna staff kept in touch with us, helped us to do a check in outside of hours, arranged an early check in for us, and were really helpful. As important, we took an Uber into Brindisi and then couldn't get an Uber back that evening. “This is a lovely new hotel suitable for a couple of days break, everything very clean, lovely continental breakfast, rooms were large, all staff were very accommodating. Only draw back to this hotel is that you need a car otherwise it costs a fortune in taxi fare (between 10&20 euros each way) to get into / out of brindisi, the road outside is narrow and not safe to walk due speeding vehicles ”

“Endroit magnifique, bâtiments d’époque très beaux et grandes chambres. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Peut-être faudra-t-il proposer 2-3 recommandations (restaurants, dégustations de vins, activités,…) dans les environs. Endroit reposant et bien placé pour accéder aux villes des alentours ! ”

“We just stayed for 2 nights but the staff made us feel so welcome. The view was great in spite of the railway line between us and the sea. We cannot fault the dinner and breakfast food and the staff were so accommodating to our children. I was disappointed that the room had disposable wooden stirrers for drinks rather than teaspoons and that we had to have plastic cups for drinks by the pool although i do understand the safety aspect ( maybe reusable plastic cups could be used?).
