「It's a real shame because the chalet has potential. But there is no investment/maintenance of it. The toilet is plagued with mould. There is nearly no storage so if you go for longer than a weekend, it is a challenge to have to live out of bags. The chalet seems to be one of the only ones that has not been painted recently. There are broken lamps and drying racks that had not been disposed of. The kitchen tap is worryingly loose and the fire alarm was left next to the microwave. No carbon...

「Nice well equipped property with the facilities needed to use it as a base to explore the area and have day trips out from. Good communication from a nice host with suggestions to visit the area and a nice welcome pack which was a nice touch. Property has a freezer which isn't listed (but no ice maker which is listed), a good selection of games and DVDs for the TV in the 2nd bedroom. Good facilities at the site although no facility to pre-book general swimming sessions so might be worth going...

「After trying out a few different lodges they all vary slightly in furnishings but are clean. The bedding is crisp and white as are the towels.Some of the curtains could do with extra hooks as not hanging properly and makes it difficult to open and close them. Larches has a patch of grass which is useful if you have dogs but they must be kept on a lead. The walks around the lodges are of all different levels, walking shoes needed.」

「Lovely lodge with view of lake. Able to sit and watch the birds from the veranda which was relaxing. Just the dining chairs and sofa could do with updating. Unfortunately the worktop had a burn mark that apparently only recently happened but will need addressing. Overall surroundings and placement of lodge great.」
