“Der Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war, brachte er uns sofort am nächsten Tag einen Ventilator, der sehr hilfreich war, denn es waren während unseres Aufenthaltes täglich hohe Temperaturen ( immer über 30 Grad ). Nur wenige Schritte aus dem Haus und man ist mitten „im Geschehen“. Tours ist sehr gut fußläufig zu erkunden.”

“Great location, very close to Gare de Tours and access to trams and buses. (No problem with noise from the trams.) Very easy walk to restaurants, bars & shops, Office de Tourisme, etc.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! The apartment has historic charm, which I appreciate. Everything we needed was there, except for some sort of soap or body wash for the shower. Checking in and out could be inconvenient, as Claude needs to be present to deliver and receive keys back. That helped explaining how the outer door locks and unlocks and explaining where the parking spot is. The spot is a little distance away, but considering how hard it is to find an open spot in that area, I’m grateful……

“Quaint, centrally located character apartment in the heart of Amboise. Walking distance everywhere in the main post of town. Literally 10 steps from a fabulous boulangerie and right on the main street. ”

“I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! ”
