“Beyond your dreams. The most romantic stay you could have. Every room was beautifully appointed and welcoming. The gardens surrounding were fabulous with a magnificent strutting rooster and guinea pigs running around the bushes.”

“Wonderful location and property- hosts attentive when needed - exterior lovely, but could have a bit more polish ( missing flowers in pots around pool, missing lounge cushions and poor looking pergola) - overall a charming well equipped spacious and comfortable property in a fantastic location ”

“This was a great stay! It was luxurious to have so much space! Conveniently located to all the attractions in Amboise, and a winery a literal stone’s throw away. One downside was no internet or wifi, and within the house the signal was poor- had to pop outside a few times when internet was needed. We would definitely stay again! ”

“Lovely and very well equipped fire. The pool area is great and secure for children. Kim and Jeremy were extremely welcoming, helpful and very communicative. we stayed with our two very young children and there was plenty of baby equipment (high chair, baby bath, stair gate etc) available. The location is rural but within an easy drive to lots of local amenities and chateaux. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore the area!”

“The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. ”

“We enjoyed the serenity of the location, the nature and beauty of the house and gardens. The home was secure with a gate. The animals were a bonus. We loved the old house and the antique furniture and the level of furnishings. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. What we found a bit odd was no curtains in the kitchen/living room and lounge areas but we have experienced the same thing in another cottage in France and therefore presume that this is the standard.
