“I'm conflicted on this review - the property was clean and with lots of sundries and supplies, beds were great, firepiit nice, no complaints, overall very good. However, with the lake withdrawn for years around a half mile from the house, this was not even close to waterfront pic they proudly show on the site. Yes, there was a clear disclaimer in the text, so no bait and switch, but leaving the photo up today with the lake down for years, then placing the disclaimer in to avoid liability, well……

“We had a wonderful stay. The location is great - we could walk right over to Boat Town and enjoy a great meal or bring home take out. They have lots of TVs so watching the Final Four and Championship games were really fun. The house was comfortable and clean. The grill does not work, but everything else was in working order. We paid to heat the pool and it was worth it. Easy to communicate with the owner. Highly recommend Junction Prime for a special dinner. The food was surprisingly good! Great……

“The house and location were wonderful, but we were dissapoined with the cleanliness of the property. The beautiful picture windows were dirty and full of cobwebs. The porch needed to be swept and furnature brushed off at least. And there was black mold all over the master shower ceiling. The other disappointment was that there was great outside furniture by the lake, but there weren't enough cushions for all the guests to sit comfortably.”

“We loved Greg’s home, my family felt very comfortable. We fished ( catfish on minnows ), shot poole and watched our Mavs win on Greg’s big screens in and outside. Outside fireplace led to S’mores and midnight conversations. Loved it!!”

“This is a great three-bedroom floor plan with an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas. There are lots of windows and natural light. It is very close to HEB and the main roads. It is a quiet area, very clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfy, and I especially loved the soft and cozy quilts. We're keeping this one on our list for future trips to the area.”

“This is our first time vacationing in Hill Country Lake area. We decided to stay in Texas and not drive to Florida beaches this year and we are very thankful we chose Sweet Summer Cove VRBO. This 5 star location is perfect for a large family or a few small ones. This home is beautiful outside and inside. Everything you need for the lake and pool is available. I enjoyed early morning golf within 15 min drive at The Legends and The Lighthouse golf courses while my wife enjoyed relaxing in the pool……

“We have rented this home many times over the past several years. Its only 5 minutes from HEB and it's on a large sized lot in a quiet neighborhood. Eric has been wonderful to work with. The house works great for our needs, and we keep coming back every year.”

“There were six of us senior lady friends and the accommodations were very comfortable. Two ladies fished most of the time and caught perch and 3 nice catfish(catch and release). Sitting on the porch in morning was sooo peaceful, the games could be updated pieces missing but we still played and laughed a lot! The two bathrooms are not in the bedrooms as the sight indicated. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully furnished. Lovely place to stay. Thank you Amy for sharing your home!”

“It was a beautiful home. However, it is supposed to be on the lake, and there was no water within 1/2 a mile due to the extremely low lake levels (not their fault). However, it advertised a hot tub, but the hot tub was drained and not usable, and that was one of the reasons we chose this place. I was disappointed with that. However, there were plenty of places to lay your head, with an abundance of pillows and blankets. If you are a coffee drinker, be sure to bring your own. They offered a tiny……
