"Excellent and affordable hotel with clean rooms, new bathroom with large walk in shower and a comfy king sized bed. My only criticism was I couldn’t log onto Netflix or any of my subscription channels through their hotel television system and their pillows are hard and flat. Great place to stay and a short drive to Watkins glen."

"We stayed here for one night while visiting Buttermilk Falls, and it was a great choice. We booked the suite and were honestly surprised by how spacious it was. It had two double beds plus a pull-out sofa bed, and it still felt roomy. The room was clean, and having a microwave and mini fridge made the stay even more convenient. We didn't arrive until after midnight, but check-in was quick and easy. Check-out the next morning was just as seamless. The only issue we encountered was with the bench in our room. While my husband was simply sitting on it to tie his shoelaces, one end suddenly gave way, causing the bench to collapse. Thankfully, he wasn't injured. We reported it to a staff member who appeared to be a housekeeping attendant (he was carrying towels) and showed him the broken bench. He didn't really react, so we're not sure if he understood us, but hopefully the issue was reported and the bench has since been repaired or replaced for future guests. Since we were only in the area for hiking, this hotel was exactly what we needed—comfortable, clean, and within an hour of Buttermilk Falls. Despite the bench incident, we'd definitely stay here again the next time we're back in the area."
