"This is an old farmhouse with lots of character. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfy. The kitchen is well-stocked. It is a 15 minute walk to town (on the lakefront) but you get to walk by beautiful homes and gardens. Lacy is a very responsive landlord. Would not hesitate to return."

"We had a lovely time staying on the finger lakes! The house is so comfortable, and the location on the lake is absolutely perfect! It had everything you need to enjoy a day on the lake - floats, chairs, and a new immaculate dock! The house is also close to so many wineries (right in the middle of the wine trail!!) we can’t wait to come back! "

"We stayed at the painted house for our son’s graduation. It was home away from home. We had everything we needed and were able to cook all our meals at the house. I highly recommend this beautiful lakefront retreat. As an added feature there is meticulous landscaping and bird feeders all around. A nature lover’s dream. "

"We were not aware or informed prior to our stay of extreme water leak damages, uncleaned toilets /bathroom, broken bed, fire pit, pool, hot tub (waiting on a piece), poor water systems and smell. We had to purchase cleaning supplies, bedding and water for cooking, washing dishes and to brush our teeth to sustain during our committed stay.
