“My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat. Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again”

“We had a very nice experience here at the chalet. Everything was clean and well maintained. The surrounding area was beautiful.One critical feedback item for the future… We stayed at the chalet in March, and the area was just starting to thaw from winter. I wish that the chalet had notified us that in order to get to the chalet, you have to traverse several dirt roads that were really muddy because of the rain / melting. Close enough to walk into the shops and restaurants in Main St. We could get to the hikes and other activities easily. Communicating with Justin was excellent. “We absolutely LOVED this Chalet! It is a warm, clean, cozy and very comfortable mountain home. We enjoyed watching movies and playing games with the fireplace adding warmth and ambiance in the background. We drove to Lake Placid several times and enjoyed the town, Ere’s Pizza and the local Olympic sites very much. It was a delight to communicate with Erica - she is very responsive and extremely helpful! Our family would love to come back in the summer and stay here again! ”

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we needed. The host was available whenever we had any questions, but we had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area, as its remote location is so peaceful. We will……
