“I had not visited the Ponds for 30 years. It has not gracefully aged. Condo unit has not been updated since it was built in the early 70s and it shows. Drafty and slightly damaged doors, slow drains in the bathrooms, furniture and rugs that show damage and age, and a clubhouse in need of updating. Front desk staff not very friendly or useful, odd because they don’t have a lot of foot traffic this time of the season. There are other similar facilities in the area that might be worth exploring……

“There wasn't any explanation to what seemed an odd format or how to use it. There seemed to be a common room with a kitchen but there wasn't information as to if we could use it, yet to get to our suite we needed to walk through it. Our suite had an efficiency kitchen, which made us even more uneasy to visit the common room, as that looked as though it somebody else's since there were some decorations half up, and other things seemed semi-occupied. Our guess was that maybe the owners or……

“Happy to have found this lovely place, which is convenient to Tanglewood, pin-drop quiet, and super comfortable. Next time I will avoid VRBO, though, because of its extortionary fees, and book directly with the inn.”
