“Location was perfect. I just had to put the leash on my dog and walk across the street to Hawks Nest S.P. Good local restaurants, New River Gorge N.P. and Babcock S.P. are a short drive away. The house is clean and stocked, including some thoughtful extras I didn’t expect. ”

“Beautiful location and perfect for those attending nearby Summit Bechtel. House is clean and has a large kitchen. Eight beds and a couple couches, plenty of room for a bunch of scouts. Proce is great too. Only issue is a small one, but the upstairs ceiling is an extremely short, so not meant to walk around in unless your a kid. Overall, great location, communication, and house for a large group.”

“House was incredibly clean and tidy. Great central location to explore the Northern portion of New River Gorge National Park and surrounding state parks. Only about 50 minutes away from the most southern areas of the National park, with all kinds of things to explore on the way!Very comfortable beds, modern amenities and appliances. The whirlpool tub is a big bonus. Quiet neighborhood with lovely woods behind the house- you will see deer for sure. We enjoyed visits from turkeys as well. ”

“We stayed just one night, but we loved SO much about this home. After spending some long hours driving, we were so relieved to have this space to stretch out, indoors and out! The back yard was large and felt like an oasis, with the hot tub and fire pit. The house was fully stocked (little & big things) and had every appliance we could have possibly needed (to include a washer & dryer). We appreciated having 2 parking spots so close to the front door…easy unloading and [re]loading. Decor was……

“Great peaceful retreat! Loved the Glamping Tent, Hot Tub and Firepit. My small dog and I, had a wonderful stay. It was delightful in every way! We plan to visit again!”

“This was such a lovely place to stay during our time in Fayetteville! The hospitality was exceptional and included thoughtful touches such as a personal greeting written on a whiteboard, a basket of snacks, and bottled water (including my favorite mineral water!) in the fridge. I forgot to bring my toothbrush, but there was a pack of brand new toothbrushes in the bathroom drawer as well as toothpaste. The house was extremely clean, and although it's historic, it felt brand new in some ways.……
