“Starry Night was the perfect hideaway cozy space. Close enough to town to be convenient but totally secluded for lovely long walks along the quiet roads, trails and beach. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials (coffee, sugar, oils, etc.) Communication with my hosts was easy, I never felt in the way despite being over their garage. Thank you Becca and Bryan!”

“Cozy, rustic cottage right on the water. Secluded and quiet aside from the sound of the waves on water and the wind. Warm fireplace inside and fresh crisp air off the water flowing through the windows if you wish. Simply beautiful, relaxing, and special. Loved it, thank you!”

“Overall, great trip. The island is wonderful, the location was good, and we really appreciated it being a dog friendly property. That said, my expectations were higher for cleanliness. Main points: mattresses are stained/need vacuuming and do not have covers. I am very glad we brought blankets. The blankets that are in the house are dirty. There is mess in every drawer/shelf. It is clearly a family vacation home, but it is difficult to get comfortable when there’s no place to put your stuff……

“Wonder home on a private beach in a relatively secluded about 10 minutes outside of town. It is such a wonderful island community to have a family retreat.”

“This is the second time we’ve rented this property and it has several characteristics which make it unique. Location - lovely view of Lake Michigan including fabulous sunsets, but not far from town or a perfect public beach for walking & swimming. Thick vegetation makes it quiet & lush but there’s always a good breeze from the lake. Loons and saw a pelican, too & a snowshoe hare in yard. The screened in porch is a huge plus for relaxing bug-free. Big & well- equipped kitchen for foodies.……

“We all really enjoyed the house! Plenty of space for our family to spread out. We all could easily come together for food and games. Enjoyed fires outside and walking on the beach. Kids enjoyed sightseeing “the big rock”. They also played with some toys at the house and picked out books to read. We loved the sunsets at the house each night too!”

“This secret hideaway on the island’s secluded south side was our greatest escape! Quiet easterly beach-front property for the early birds, the best light show in Northern Michigan for the stargazers, and situated close to a series of bays, historical sites, and hiking trails for all the adventuring in between. The home was thoughtfully put together with lots of versatility to accommodate groups both big and small. And the owners were great to work with. 10/10 would recommend!”

“This homes location, host and amenities were beyond expectations! We have stayed at different locations on Beaver Island, and this has become our families favorite that we will return to every summer! A beautiful home with everything needed including a finished basement with tons of games and books for the kids, along with kayaks and paddle boards, canoe and small aluminum boat on a beautiful sandy bottom lake.
