12 ladies in town for a bachelorette weekend to enjoy the wineries and this location was perfect! The dining room table was exactly what we needed for enjoying our time at the house together! Clean, convenient location! A quick walk to the lake or to town!
We stayed here for a recent bachelorette party and had the best time! The house was beautiful, well maintained, comfortable and a great distance for walking downtown. We had a great experience and time!

July in TC
The stay in TC was great. Location good. The house was not clean. We had to wait to get in. The property does not look like the pictures and need work on the grounds
We loved our stay in Traverse City! Walkable to downtown and comfortable accommodations. Perfect to fit family of 6 the fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Easy and quick communication with host. Would stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Walking distance to front Street and the water. Sleeping arrangements were as described. The house was spacious and clean.
We had an awesome weekend at your pretty home! Lots of room, beds were comfy, very clean. We loved the big dining table! Lots of drinks, snacks, and laughter around it!
Thank you! 5 star place!
House was great! Loved the “butlers pantry” that we used as the bar set up. Nice size kitchen too. Huge wooden table that was important for us. We slept 9 very comfortably using the couches. Walked to town several times. Would stay again for sure.
Location was great, house was clean, and hosts were very responsive. The house itself is not a great set up for kids but that’s to be expected with an old historic home like this. Kitchen supplies and utensils left something to desired but if you aren’t doing a lot of cooking during your stay it wouldn’t be a big deal. Overall this is a great location to stay if you’re looking to hang out in TC and would be great for a group without little kids.
The house has great location. I wished the house was cleaner considering you pay a hefty cleaning fee. Dirty shower coffee left in pot from someone elses stay. But over all it worked for what we needed it for
Older cozy home about a 15 minute walk to heart of downtown. Host extremely responsive with check in and queries during our stay. The house is a couple of buildings off of Division so there was street noise. Glad nephew had a computer as needed to use personal streaming services to access movies and football on tv.
It so happened that my wifes Birthday, and two of our friends anniversaries landed around the same time so we decided to take a wine trip to Traverse City and bring back an old tradition that went away after COVID. When we saw this property we immediately knew it was the one, affordable, 10 minute walk to food and drinks, enough Bedrooms and space for hanging out, and getting ready. In addition, the property partners with Brew Bus, a local company that transports groups around TC. We were fortunate to have an amazing drive in Doug (recommend) and even added hours we were having such a great time. The property was clean and perfect for what we were there to do. The property manager was super communicative before, during, and after the stay and provided us with everything that we needed to have an amazing trip. Highly recommend for any group that is looking for a low key, relaxing, and comfortable location to unwind, recharge, and create memories!
The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and in a fantastic location. We walked to many things, which was wonderful. The only issue we had was that the owner only allotted guests a certain amount of “consumables.” We asked for more toilet paper and were told no. Considering the amount we paid for the place, this was disappointing. We ran out on day 5 of 8 and had to go out and buy more. The hand soap and dishwasher pods also didn’t last the entire trip either. Also, despite being in walking distance to the beach (great!) no beach towels were provided. It would have been helpful to know about these things before we came so we could have brought stuff from home. Regardless, it was a great vacation spot! I would recommend it - just bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc and beach towels.
Elevated is maybe not the word I would use to describe this company. Pros The house is old but clean in a great location. The beds are comfortable. Sheets and towels are new. There is a second bathroom on the second floor, but it is inside one of the bedrooms.ConsWhether you stay, and PAY, for 2 days or 8, you receive a starter kit of amenities. For the 2 night guest this might be enough. But for the 8 night guest (which we were--a group of 5) or a bigger group, be prepared to bring your own body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, dishwasher pods and laundry soap, if you want to run more than two loads of dishes, laundry or towels. Because according to Elevated, when we asked for more soap, TP and DW pods, we were told no. Their response was: "airbnb's are not hotels but guest-catered accommodations so guests typically supply additional consumables for longer stays". How does it make sense that we get less supplies because we are staying longer? We pay the same amount for the additional days! The yard is mostly dirt. The bottom of the fire pit is completely rusted through and the wood is sitting on the ground. Not sure the bikes are usable. They are in bad shape: chains are rusted, they have flat tires and the seats have holes. It's somewhat noisy being so close to Division St, but not intolerable. We had to ask for more coffee cups as there was only 5, which they did supply.Propane ran out. We replaced it and were reimbursed, but not for tax.
A group of families and friends gather in Traverse City every winter to go snow tubing at Timberlee Hills. This is the VRBO rental we got for the 2024 edition of our annual winter fest.
It is the best location of any hotel or rental that we got so far (and we've been doing this for 20 years). There ARE better locations (right in the middle of downtown, for example), but you will pay a LOT more for those.
From this location, we found that we could get anywhere we wanted to go in Traverse City in just minutes. In the summertime, we imagined that it would be just as easy and fast to bike or walk.
It's not as fancy as some places where our family and friends stayed on other trips around the country. It's an older home and it shows some "tear and wear," but it's clean and not unpleasant. We had plenty of room to cook, eat, gather, play games, etc. We had plenty of room to sleep (with a couple of air mattresses for the kids).
We did have the strange experience of random people walking in the front door without knocking. There seemed to be a big party happening next door on the last day of our stay. People kept walking into our house unannounced, looking around, apologizing, then walking back out. I don't know if this happens a lot. They were all friendly (and embarrassed)!
The only other thing you should know is that one of the two bathrooms (the one upstairs) is in a bedroom and not off the hall.
Overall, we had a good experience and recommend this place!

The property is in a great location and provides a family or group the space to spread out a bit and have both privacy and convenience. However, it is clearly taking a beating and the the management company needs a reminder of attention to detail. We came with our family of 5 and intentionally chose to NOT pack our bicycles as this property "provides" bike for use. They were unusable to say the least. All tires were flat, the chains were off and rusty, the seats were broken. There was no bicycle pump provided and when we called and asked for one early the second morning, it took all day and a second call to receive one. Very disappointing as it was our intended mode of exploration. In addition, the house just felt like it was being used, abused, and not paid attention to. There was a half consumed water bottle on the coffee table, the coffee pot had a used old filter in it. Many of the kitchen utensils were dirty. The beds had old food wrappers, hairbands, toys underneath and there was someone's old underwear in a dresser drawer. Finding all these treasures left me a little grossed out and feeling like likely what didn't look "dirty" probably wasn't all that clean. Lastly, the couches were horribly uncomfortable, the dining chairs were about to lose legs if we didn't tighten all the bolts, there was no backyard lighting until we moved a lightbulb from inside out, and the yard was under construction, so not at all as depicted in the picture. A place to sleep, not to spend time

This is a nice home. The host was pleasant and responsive. Our only concern is that it felt like the furnace filters had not been replaced in a while as
Excellent location convenient to downtown Traverse City in a family friendly neighborhood. The house was built in 1906 and beautiful with lovely woodwork. We had plenty of room for our group of 9. Host is very receptive to comments and questions. A wonderful stay.
It was just as advertised. Check in was easy and the kitchen was fine. Thank goodness for air conditioning! The location was perfect. Access to Front St and walkable. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our stay, especially the great location!! Everyone slept great on the clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen is a little sparse, but functional. The house itself is obviously old and historic, and could use some interior updates.
