「My husband and I had a great time meeting all of the animals on the property. Amanda, Timber, Harold, and Ivan made our stay memorable and wonderful. We particularly enjoyed spending a night beside the fire and enjoying the stars. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. 」

「Just 2 of us staying there so there was plenty of space, if there had been more it might have been a little cramped. This place has a really big yard with privacy fence on either side, perfect for our dog to run around in and go for a swim when he wanted to. It was perfect!」

「This was a lovely house. We loved being on Cedar Lake and the kayaks were our favorite outdoor activity. There's a fire pit by the lake. The pontoon ran with no problems. We did have to run the fan, as suggested, because the lower level was cold otherwise. We would stay there again if in the area.」

「The small house was just what my wife and I needed for our stay. The location was convenient for our travels around the area. The coffee and snacks provided were much appreciated. We especially liked being able to enjoy our bottle of wine by the lake in the evening. 」

「What a terrific property! The spacious house easily accommodated ten adults (we brought a blow-up mattress to have enough beds in the lower level). Nestled in the woods with a large yard and a big fire-pit, the home had that up-north feel. Elk Lake was about a half-mile walk. We loved the location--an easy drive to Elk Rapids (loved Veteran's Memorial Beach), Torch Lake, Traverse City, and all the wineries and beaches on Old Mission Peninsula.
