“The property was very welcoming with plenty of room for the entire family. The kids loved playing checkers and enjoyed watching the birds that came to the bird feeder each day. The location was close to all the places we intended to visit.”

“This property is very nice. It even gave us a few ideas for our home. Our kids and pets, enjoyed the property and we loved the home and it's location as well. Would have like to see a stronger fencing around back, but our dogs listen well so we just told them to stay down and no jumping.”

“I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;)”

“This house is perfect for families with young children. My sons enjoyed the basement game room. The owner provides all the necessary materials you need to enjoy your stay. Best of all it is local to mall outlet and Hershey park. I highly recommend this place.”

“First, the property was unprepared for guests. Key features were not ready to use: the pool water was green and murky (in May) despite specific asks to have it prepared and despite it being prominently displayed on the listing as a major feature of the property. The refrigerator was not on so perishable items could not be kept cold for 24 hours. The Wi-Fi did not work upon arrival. Second, there were structural issues with the property, some of which were unsafe. The kitchen ceiling was leaking……

“It’s a little house/ camper on the farm property. If you don’t mind glamping camper style- you’ll be fine. The deck was really cute to hang out on and it had a great view. The hot tub is not at the little house- it’s at the main house. We drove to it (mainly because it was chilly at night but can be walkable.) The rooms were very small, studio apartment like but still very cute. It had all the essentials and we were very happy with it. ”

“We had a great one night stay on our road trip. Love that you can bring dogs here. Bed was comfortable and wood stove is lovely. Wish the hot tub was hotter but that's all I would have changed.”

“Three ladies stayed while attending the Lancaster Quilt Show. Plenty of room to sew in the evening. On street parking was not a problem. You may want to add a curtain on the bathroom window or frost the window. Also wider curtains on the windows.”
