Sitting out on the deck over looking the seasonal lake, while listening to the songs of the waterfowl & Steelers Jays… And watching the ducks and geese with those little fluff ball babies waddle up to the grass area of the yard was a real treat.. We never once clicked on the TV as the view has everything we needed. Very comfortable & peaceful indeed.」

「This is a wonderful place to stay. Spacious, quiet, well located; this house has everything you’d need for a McCloud getaway. Well appointed kitchen, great bathroom, comfortable spots all throughout the house to tuck yourself away and fixate on the great forest views. I loved the big porch in the front with its comfortable outdoor furniture. Also, right in the front, if you stand in the no traffic road, there’s Mt Shasta grinning down at you. A magical place to stay.」

「My crew and I were staying here for the week as we worked on a project at the High School. Couldn't be happier with the house and the host. Retta communicated and went above an beyond to make sure we were taken care of. After working long hours, its was nice to come back to a place where we could relax, enjoy some peace and quiet as we recovered from the days work. We are coming back in June and hopefully this beautiful chateau is available then as well cause I would re-book in a heart beat!!!」

「The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the video game table and the wide variety of interesting books and music. I wouldn't call the waterbed waveless (we've had 2 waterbeds), and we found this one a bit sloshy. Used the wood stove heater for 2 days but I'm sensitive to smoke so we used the electric heater for the last 2 days. The town of Dunsmuir didn't offer much in the way of food or entertainment. Most of the restaurants we had researched prior to our visit were no longer open for...

「The 6 of us enjoyed this beautiful home from the minute we arrived to closing the door behind us to head home. Jeanna was the best, very open and communicative. Everything was excellent quality and did not look or feel like a cabin that stored old appliances or utensils that have outlived their lives, it was a beautiful home. 「This was the perfect spot for our family and friends annual lake trip. Besides backing to the lake and being walking distance to the water where we anchored the boats there was plenty of parking for 4 vehicles and two trailers. The house had plenty of room and all the amenities one could need. The garage game room was an absolute plus with the pool table and dart board. Will definitely be booking for next summer!」

「Studio is beautiful and has all the amenities. We really enjoyed our stay. Just that locks are hard to open and lock. Also, please modify checkout instructions like it asks for put dishes in dish washer but there is no dish washer in studio. Also it says checkout time as 11pm. It must be 11am. 😁」
