“We traveled from Alaska to ME with a large group. This home was large and had just about all the amenities we needed at an affordable price. The property was beautiful and the process was easy.”

“Loved the house design and neighborhood. Comfortable and easy to navigate both inside and out. The place appeared to have been closed up as the air was musty and heavy when we arrived but the windows were easy to open, they had fans, air purifiers etc.I think the wet spring may have added some moisture to their old basement. It's a historical house so maybe that just comes with the territory. Our son graduated from nearby Maine Maritime and it served as a great home base. Thank you!”

“The house and surrounding were very nice. Exactly as described and had some nice touches left by the management company- extra soap, laundry pods, doggie poop bags. The only concerns were that the keypad on the door was temperamental and didn’t work our entire visit (thankfully there was a key in a lockbox so we could get inside when it was cold and raining) and there were several dishes put away dirty. Overall it was a great property that we hope to return to in warmer weather and enjoy the……

“We came to town for Umaine graduation. The house was beautiful. Michelle our host was great! We had everything we needed. The fire pit was very relaxing while watching a beautiful sunset. We hope to make it back someday.”

“My sister and I stayed around the corner from our aunt and uncle. We bought things at the co-op but mostly ate with family. It was nice to sit downstairs one evening and watch a Netflix show. Coffee in the morning was easy and the bathroom had just what I needed. The best part was the comfortable bed and quiet location. And the ease of communicating with the host. Definitely will stay there again in the future.”

“The property was exactly as represented. It has all the basic necessities. The location was perfect. Right on the lake so we could do our ice fishing right from the porch. Check in and out was easy. The only small downside was the parking. I have a suburban so there was not a lot of space in front of the cottage for it to fit and be completely off the road. I was a little nervous it would get clipped by someone driving by.”

“Very nice warm house in the woods, remote, great opportunity to bond with family and nature, and if you need to get away from the harshness of city/urban life. Responsive host. Made it as base to Bar Harbor and Acadia and nearby small towns. We all had a wonderful time. Internet a bit slow can improve maybe but i guess its normal for the area. ”
