“We wanted to find a place that was close to Taos, Santa Fe and Abiquiu and Truchas seemed like the perfect place. I had never heard of Truchas before, but immediately fell in love with the place and the Casita when I saw it on Vrbo. Usually we stay in town, either Taos or Santa Fe so this was different as it is very secluded in a good way. We live outside a small town in Texas so we were used to having to drive a bit for groceries or restaurants. 30 minutes for both. The casita is a work of……
