“Very nice home for large groups or families. Having three legit master bedrooms was a very nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and kitchen gadgets. Hot tub and bbq worked great. Two minor critiques: the downstairs to upstairs is a loft-type design so noise carries, and pool access was in the listing but not actually available for short term guests according to the pool staff. Even if there is a work-around for the pool passes, the pool/resort fee is 24/person - not viable for a large……

“Really loved our stay. Was originally going with my son for spring break. At the last minute, one of his friends and friends' dad came along as well. Was worried if the place was big enough but no issues at all. Everyone was comfortable and had a great time. Real ski in/out makes such a big difference. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall, this property was everything that we could've asked for and more. Things we liked: Amazing views off of 3 separate decks. Great kitchen that was fully stocked - bring food and you should have all the tools to make it. Movie Theater seating and ease of using said movie theater (we just brought a laptop). “Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake!
The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$
But overall we loved the location, there……

“The house was a perfect way to show East coast relatives California. The space easily accommodated 7 adults (3 couples 1 and a 1-year old. The kitchen was spectacular - made it easy to prepare meals. Hosts graciously allowed us to use paddle boards and kayaks. We had a terrific time.”

“Very convenient location near the bottom of the slope close to the Northstar Gondola. We loved the property and little touches, like the snack basket, tea/coffee choices, etc. The view was fun, watching skiers come down the mountain. The best is ski in/out, no packing the car and driving necessary, at the end of a big ski day, it's so nice to be able to just relax.”
