Beautiful home

Beautiful home with the best service ever. The chefs were amazing. We felt like royalty the whole time. Having someone clean the house and make up beds was such a bonus.

Stunning villa on Soliman Bay

We had an awesome Bachelor Party weekend at the Casa Kevali near Tulum. The place looks just as the pictures, the support crew (housekeeping and chef) were wonderful, and the beachfront access can't be beat. There is some sargassum that washes in, but the staff helps to keep the beachfront clear for launching kayaks etc. We had a lovely stay and would book this property again.

Beautiful Villa!

This is a stunning villa right in the beach. The rooms are all beautiful and have everything you could hope for. The property manager, Karla, is so helpful and responsive. We had a great experience with the chef and all the staff is super helpful. I would highly recommend anyone stay here if they’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation with family or friends.

Grateful for casa kevali

I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was at this property. Karla was wonderful to work with really made our stay very special. Anything we asked, for it seem to appear from yoga mats to kids life jackets. The service and the chef really made our stay very special and the food was amazing, and it was fun to get to know them. The home is beautiful and very spacious. We were a group of 11, including three children under six we were able to enjoy Thanksgiving week, all staying together, thank you very much.

Bed bugs, no water and unusable beach front

One of the beds was riddled with bed bugs, blood stained sheets from previous guests and just really set us on a terrible start. The water went out and in and we went several hours without water when we were wanting to go to bed. Two friends jumped in the pool to feel more fresh when the water was out. Also the beach front had so much seaweed and we could not use the beach at all.

Amazing time?

We LOVED our stay at Casa Kavali. There were 12 of us (three generations) at the house for 4 nights, we never felt crowded. Plenty of bedrooms and beds and bathrooms and towels! Also, lots of room to spread out inside and out. It’s a beautiful place. Kids (and adults) loved the pool and hunting for hermit crabs. Entering the ocean is pretty rocky but water shoes were helpful. Loved having kayaks, paddles and life jackets. Communication thru WhatsApp was fantastic. The house was amazing and only surpassed by the staff and the chefs. Hire the chefs! They cooked for the 12 of us for our entire trip (except for lunch one day when we went to Sian Ka’an). Food was excellent and their ease with our family was an added plus. Delightful people! This was truly a dream come true. (Just one note: the rooms with the twin beds that share a bathroom with the two queen bedroom is not part the main house. It connects with a covered breezeway to the main house. We had planned on all the grandkids (ages 6-16) sleeping in those rooms but their parents wanted them a bit closer. So here’s how we divided up: 1 family of 4 were in the upstairs primary (it’s huge & has a daybed and a pull out futon), 1 family of 4 out in the bedrooms connected by breezeway, the other two couples in separate bedrooms upstairs (one of those is the art room). We did not use the separate casita but it looked really nice.)

Families stay near Tulum.

We had a fantastic time at this beach house near Tulum, Mexico. The house was in a prime location, right on the beach and with beautiful views. But what made our stay truly memorable was the combination of our private chef Gonzalo, who provided us with delicious meals every day, and the house owner Karla, who was always there for us and gave us great recommendations. Karla was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Overall, we highly recommend this beach house and especially Chef Gonzalo and Karla for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation in Tulum.

50th Birthday Trip

My family and I came to Tulum to celebrate my 50th birthday, and had a wonderful vacation. Our stay at Casa Kevali was a treat! The house is spacious and accommodated our big group. It is very nicely decorated, its name was perfectly chosen. Karla is a great host, flexible and easily reached. The only thing missing was a white, fine sand beach, there were lots of shells and rocks as you enter the water, but the kayaking was a lot of fun. Recommendation: rent a car if you plan to do things outside the bay. Not every transportation goes all the way to the house and everything is at least 15 minutes away.

From Snowy Colorado to the Lapping Tulum Waves

We were exhausted when we arrived but Diego was waiting for outside to help with luggage and welcome us. 7 adults and 2 children had such private accommodations. Excellent floor plan. Working with Antonio was great but, the reality of having your meals cooke for you breakfast, lunch and dinner was a game changer. Tuna tartare in an avocado cup with cucumber, mint and lime lunch drink, ceviche, and tostadas....I mean this is "just" lunch. The beach had sargarsum algae seaweed but, Diego cleaned it every morning. Others along the coast did not do so as much. Spent alot of time in the sea kayaks looking at the reefs. The pool right next to the covered outdoor patio was a huge plus. Private beach...DOn't forget to tip these amazing hard workers wonderful people. They worked hard creating beautiful presentations, art actually. Lots of fresh coconut drinks!

Terrific Location for 3 Families

We really enjoyed our week at Casa Kevali. We had three families (6 adults and 6 children), and the layout of the bedrooms was perfect to allow everyone their own space. Being on the beach was great as well, as the kids enjoyed exploring the bay on kayaks and paddleboards, and the beach was never crowded in the least. The staff also made our stay fantastic - Diego and Nati kept the house in order (and tried to keep the seaweed in check), and chefs Jose and Irene prepared absolutely fantastic meals for the group. I cannot say enough how nice it was to have the chefs taking care of the food! The only downsides worth noting were that (1) the seaweed smell can be a bit much at times (despite the constant and heroic efforts of staff to remove it), and (2) since Soliman Bay is a marine preserve, fishing is not allowed in the bay, so we were unable to fish daily in the bay, as we had planned. Otherwise, the house was a great base to explore the area - we enjoyed fishing in Ascension Bay, boating in Puerto Aventuras, Xel Ha water park, exploring area cenotes, eating/shopping in Tulum, and swimming with turtles in Akumal. Lastly, it was nice having the bar and restaurant at the Jashita just down the beach. The house was ideal for our great week there. Highly recommended!

A Little Slice of Heaven

Where to begin…? Everything here is just beautiful. The house itself is perfect. We had so much space but also room to commune and enjoy each other’s company. We woke up to ocean views and swaying palm trees every morning. Being right on the bay was such a relaxing treat for our family vacation. Nothing better than an early coffee followed by a kayak or paddleboard trip at sunrise. And the staff. It would not have been the same without them. Executive Chef Antonio helped us organize an incredible meal plan for our 10-day stay. The over-the-top Chef Gonzalo who was in the house preparing our meals every day was such a blessing. His meals are works of art to the eye and the palate. He is such a sweet man, and we were honored to spend time with him. We can’t stress enough how amazing he made this trip for us. The housekeeping and groundskeeping staff, Diego and Tati, were so helpful. If there was something we didn’t have, they helped us out. They made sure we had fresh beach towels every day, our beds were made and rooms were cleaned, and our beach chairs were always neatly lined up with everything cleaned in the mornings. Karla was the one who helped answer any questions we had as well, before, during, and after our stay. We even left something behind by accident, and she was so so kind in helping return it to us. She is so sweet and helpful. We went to Casa Kevali at the end of the year for the holidays, but we HIGHLY recommend it for the beginning of the year or middle of the year also! Just go if you can, you will not regret it. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay at this gem longer than we did. We hope to return in the future ❤️ Thank you, team Casa Kevali!

Une semaine superbe au bout du monde

Maison située dans un cadre idyllique, au milieu d’ une palmeraie! Conseil: louer une voiture. Rien à moins de 25 min . La plage de sable fin est privée, la mer est belle et bonne cependant, beaucoup de coquillages, cailloux, coraux pour entrer ds l’eau. Notre cheffe était extraordinaire. Elle arrive pour le petit déjeuner et repart après dîner. Tout était bon. Nous étions 10. Personne n’a été malade. Eau minérale à disposition. Excellente cuisine mexicaine variée et plus!. La cuisine est ouverte donc sans séparation avec le living!!! La maison est propre mais draps et oreillers - pas satisfaisants. Les 2 chambres du bungalow séparé sont parfaites mais…. fortes odeurs d’humidité (moisi). Parfois, odeurs d’égouts ds la maison! A part ces petits détails, je veux bien y retourner demain et vivre de belles jounées dans la palmeraie au bord de la mer des Caraïbes.😁😁😁
