I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. Andrea, the manager, was lovely, helpful, knowledgable, attentive -- just exceptional service. Everyone on staff was excellent; going above and beyond. The location is great, and right next door to Mayan Dreams where my mom received a beautiful massage on the beach. The bedding in the room, our pool, the shower, the robes, and the Japanese restaurant were all first rate as well. We are so happy we stayed at Tago! Would stay again in a heart beat, and highly recommend.

My pool didn't work in the original room then we were moved to a new room and the air conditioner soaked the entire room and carpet... I wasted a whole day there because they said it would take an hour to fix and it took hours. I asked for any accommodations and nothing was done for us.

Best stay!!! Loved the staff , loved the vibe!! Unfortunately i did go when the seaweed was at its fullest but i already knew so we planned to go to a cenote beach club and a lagoon and was amazing. Food is absolutely delicious at Tago and they have a Sushi restaurant there too that I highly recommend. Such an oasis and tranquility. Rooms were gorgeous and the vegetation around was so beautiful. Highly recommend this place, definitely will be coming back!!

Partial ocean view room was absolutely stunning. The ambiance of the room and hotel, fit tulum vibe completely. The only downside was the sargassum on the beach, which the hotel could not help. However made it hard to sit on the beautiful balcony due to the smell.
