“We loved our stay. The house was so cozy and so many fun vintage features. Loved the pellet stove made the cabin so warm and cozy. The mud room came in handy because it was raining and we took our shoes and jackets off in there. Our dogs had a great time walking down the hill to go for walks in town or just walk around her property and sniff every tree. Thank you Gail for keeping your dad’s house and renting it. “It was an amazing getaway!A wonderful, cozy home with an interesting history. A quiet place where you can truly recharge.The house felt like a small museum, where everything has meaning. There were many interesting books and board games, and everything we needed was provided.Just one small note: Wi-Fi would have been helpful, because even though we wanted to disconnect, some work matters still required being online do - but this was not critical at all.Thank you for a fantastic stay! “we had two kids and 3 adults in our group. we all fit comfortably! my kids LOVED the bunk beds! the pillow floor bed was great for lounging, we brought it in the main room, in front of the fire place. the patio view is gorgeous. the kitchen was well stocked with supplies and great cooking pans! we didn’t eat out one time because we were able to cook at home. there is an amazing park in town, several hiking trails, we actually didn’t travel or do what we originally planned because Twain Harte had……
