LUXURIOUS BEACH RETREAT WITH THE BEST FISHING AND OCEAN VIEWS IN ALL OF SARGENT!

"We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. We didn't want to go anywhere else. The pool was a huge hit. The fishing dock was awesome. Caught tons of fish. Big black drums, speckled trout, sand trout, catfish, flounder, and lots of crabs. The pool is so close to the dock and water which made it so nice to be able to swim and fish at the same time. The lights on the dock brought the trout in really good. Neighbors were fishing and not catching many fish at all and we were catching a lot. The house was clean and cold. The house had everything we needed and is a very family friendly house. There was no mosquitoes which was amazing. Sargent is a nice little beach town. We bought fresh shrimp off the boat to cook with the crabs we caught off the dock. The pool was sooo clean and nice. The slide was awesome and everyone loved going down it. There are lights all around the house which made it nice at night. We will definitely be back.Our 4 year old son cried so bad the morning we had to leave. He absolutely loved this house. Thank you Travis for sharing your house with us, we will be back!"

"We had an amazing time during our stay! The house was so nice, very neat and clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The fishing was incredible! The property manager communicated in a very timely manner and assisted us with any need or question we had. We enjoyed our time; this is our 4th stay here!"

"Great location. Quiet area. Short drive to Matagorda Bay and Palacios. It is great for nature lovers and people wanting a quiet place to veg out. If you are looking for more "resort type" may not be for you."

"Great space for a couple or small family with 1 or 2 kids. Walking distance to the beach, but there’s a few dunes and weeds you need to get through, and the trail gets quite overgrown midway to the beach. The main beach access point is also just a short drive away. The location is quiet and fairly secluded with a great view of the beach from the back deck. The house is semi remodeled but missing some minor details to maximize its full potential (some non operational light fixtures and missing vents). There is a washer/dryer but not accessible to guests. Plan on bringing your own shower toiletries. Overall a great stay for the price and location."
