“For what my wife and I were looking for, it was excellent. We wanted a good base to live out of and do our own thing. We rented a car and wanted a property that had good location, parking and a comfortable apartment style living arrangement which we got. My pool was an added lovely bonus and the staff were very accommodating/helpful. “Loved our room and view. We felt there was no communication from staff regarding our being able to dine at sister hotels or how to get there when the ferry wasn’t running. We heard from another guest that we could take the ferry to other hotels. The hotel should have told us that. The food was just ok and we expected it to be tastier and not such small portions. ”

“I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. “We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper.
