This is a four, not five star hotel. The staff are very friendly but the property is becoming run down/ the location is lovely and quiet. All the rooms face the ocean and we enjoyed our balcony. The restaurant needs a more varied menu, but there are lots of restaurants to try. Nothing much in the way of walking but there’s a bit. They need to bring down the price of the room, though, since I was paying Four Seasojs price but without the quality. But as said, staff is very friendly and helpful. The property isn’t as advertised on their website since they show multiple restaurants on site - seems like they are in transition. I stil enjoyed my stay. But I won’t go back until the property is revamped.

The people are wonderful… room was solid, perfect location for a relaxing time on a beach in Barbados. Great food options with very limited effort, many walking within and close to the property. Bit pricy for the total package, but enjoyed a nice stay.

Good beachside location

Pleasant! Great room with beautiful views. Nice pool and excellent service from Simon at the poolside. Breakfast was underwhelming and the environment was scruffy with birds flying everywhere and fresh and old bird poo on the dining chairs that were old and uncomfortable. The staff were pleasant. This hotel is NOT the standards of other Fairmont Hotels by any means!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful time spent at Fairmont. Warm welcome from the moment we stepped on the property. Got a room upgrade and complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. The cleaning staff kept the rooms well maintained and replenished the water daily. Ate in the Taboras restaurant and daily breakfast. Great choice and very good food. Beach lovely and clean, crystal clear waters. Relaxed, friendly vibe. Highly reccomend the Fairmont Royal Pavilions
