Could not have asked for a better home to rent!

We spent a week in Tybee with our four adult kids and spouses and this home was just perfect in every way! So beautifully furnished, so much space for everyone, the kitchen was amazing, screened porch with grill was our nightly spot to gather when we weren’t in the plunge pool— which was perfect for 9 adults and one toddler. This home is literally steps to the beach and this stretch of beach is uncrowned (even on Memorial Day weekend). This home is exceptional and a true gem for a family gathering.

Awesome House

We had an amazing three day weekend at this awesome house. The location is fantastic and the ability to walk to the beach or to some of the local restaurants was great. The house is impeccable. From the decor to the furnishings and outside hangout area by the pool, you can’t ask for more. We will 100% stay here again next year. We loved the kitchen and the amount of refrigerators. Beds were comfortable.

Annual Family Spring Break Trip

Our family had an amazing spring break week in the “Southern Bell”. The house had all the amenities one would need. My husband, the chef of the group, truly enjoyed all that the indoor and outdoor kitchens had to offer. Well stocked (with top notch cookware). We ate very well. The house was clean and well decorated. Our teens loved the downstairs area, the pickleball court and the pool. We all loved the beach area and even caught some fish at sunset. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We hope to be back soon.

The Tybee Bell was a perfect southern beach vacation experience!

What a beautiful house and property which was a perfect space and layout for our family! The spacious open living area and kitchen made family togetherness easy! The photos in the rental posting were spot on. There is both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig in the kitchen. Pickleball equipment is available along with a corn hole set. A large pot is in the kitchen for a low county boil.There are two ice makers in the kitchen and a very large ice maker in the outdoor kitchen. Clicklist worked great for initial food supply pick up at a grocery which is 9 miles from the house. The island grocery is convenient and has good supply and options to select from. The staff is very nice! We did have beach family photos made by photographer SC. He provided a professional and comfortable photo session working quickly as we had little ones. Lots of good photos to help remember our Tybee Island vacation! The house’s pool heater did a good job for the little ones in our group. It did turn off one time during the week. The property manager responded to the call for help. The manager brought a security camera repairman onsite later in the week; both were professional and nice. The elevator was a nice convenience for the elder in our group. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The only negative experienced is that on four nights of our stay fishing boats (one to three) dropped anchor close to the property side of the water.

Beautiful home with room for improvement in services and communication

This is the first time staying at a VRBO that included a separate portal from the rental agency, which of course went to my spam folder. After calling because we could not get past the entrance gate without a code, I was told the information was in our portal- but never that it was not VRBO, which is where previous communications had been shared. On our second day, we learned there was a 35daily charge to have th private pool heated - not part of the VRBO posting though apparently in the fine print as we would discover. Regardless, the pool was never really accessible as the breaker switch tripped several times causing the temperature to drop and rarely rise back up to a warmth level for our youngest members to swim. This was so disappointing that we were nickel and dimed for pool heat given the price of the property. Additionally, there were no pool towels, nor extra bathroom towels for the two times some of the adults ventured into the cold water. The kitchen was very well stocked with top end supplies (including Le Crueset and Staub cookware!) However, we were left onl 3 dish towels for a 6 night stay. Again, wasn’t really expecting to have to do laundry for household supplies given the amount we paid for the stay. I did request to speak with a manager on day 3 and was told to call back the next day. Overall, beautiful property, needs a little tweaking when it comes to supplies and lots of improvement in overall communication from the management company.
