Welcome to Tybee Island! This home's warm seashell tones and the occasional ocean mural make it ideal for guests looking to soak up authentic beach vibes. Beach towels are provided for your beach excursions, and a private washer/dryer will take care of the swimsuits. But before you race off, take a load off inside the central air-conditioning. There's a fan in every room in this house to help keep everyone cool. The jetted tub also works wonders for cooling off, we've heard. If remote work or school has to get done during vacation, just head up to the upstairs office space. It's just off the bedroom with a Murphy bed - though you will have to walk past the lovely deck to get to it! The home is family-friendly by design, with an enclosed backyard perfect for lounging or watching kids play.

A high chair is available for younger guests.

This home is only three blocks from the beach and five blocks from other beaches and a fishing pier. Head three miles up to the top of the island to visit the Tybee Island Light Station, the oldest and tallest lighthouse in Georgia.

Please be mindful of the small step in the living room from the front door and the small step to the kitchen and back bedrooms.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This place was excellent and very spacious and was comfortable for my whole family and I. Love the fact that has pools right in the back and a very easy access to the beach and dining right at your fingertips… would stay here again as we plan to make this a annual trip each year

The only positive thing about this house is location. When we first arrived, the air conditioner upstairs was not working. I contacted the manager who stated she would send someone out. Someone came out and replaced the batteries in the remote then left. We had no air conditioning for our stay. The upstairs of the house was approximately 85 degrees making it unusable. The house was not clean. There was dust everywhere. There was hair in the showers. There were fingernails on the couch where someone clipped them prior to us arriving. I’m aware that this is a beach house, but the amount of bugs in the house was excessive. All three guests left the house with dozens of bug bites. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this house to anyone as it seems the managers and owners do not care about the people paying to stay in their home.

I was warned about the step down into the living room. That got my husband and I quite a few times. We enjoyed the stay and plan to stay here again if available when we visit Tybee. I will mention that the tv in the spare bedroom downstairs would not work with the remote. We changed the batteries but still did not work. Not a big deal to us but you may want to check it out. The house was in a great location to walk to the beach, shops and resteraunts.

Needs deep clean & TLC

I am not one to complain or take the time to write reviews but this property was so disappointing that I felt the need to advise renters and give the manager feedback.Mainly, the house is in desperate need of a deep clean. I recognize it's a beach house that allows dogs but it was SO dirty. -Floors were disgusting...our feet and socks were always dirty. Baseboards, windows, AC vents, etc. haven't been wiped down in ages.-One of the beds was unmade, with a pile of pillowcases & comforter left crumpled dirty on the bed...no sheets at all! When I contacted the management company, the only response I received was that they would make a note....no apology or attempt to remedy.-Very limited supplies were provided. Empty bottle of laundry detergent and no dishwasher soap.-Kitchen is bare bones. Cheap products, NO oven mitts but 5 wine openers! :D-The stove needs repair or replaced. The burners don't heat consistent and are warped.-Living room TV and Wifi connection is very slow and spotty.-Towels are worn and rough-The nice couch in the deck photo that I was looking forward to lounging and reading on, but is now an uncomfortable plastic chair set.-The "fenced" yard is not suitable for dogs to roam.It's obvious the property is managed and possibly owned by an out of town corporation (California on the documents). There is no thought or human touch that makes this a welcome place to stay. At this price, there are significantly better and locally owned options.

Nice Place

The stay was great . Kids enjoyed the house and the Tybee beach community. The house is a nice size for multiple teenagers. Plenty of room along with comfort and beds . The house has everything you need . Great shaded patio and barbecue grill . The place made our vacation a lot more fun . Thank you

Awesome location. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops, beaches, and piers. Older home, which I love the charm of older homes, but needs a good cleaning (carpets and couch). A little irritated that I tried to contact management about a few small issues and never heard back from them.

Great House - Not so Great Maintenance of Property

Enjoyed the owners home, however, maintenance of the property is lacking. Damaged window blinds on both levels, dirty carpet (the 1st bedroom to the left on the main level is so bad walking into the room that I had to put a towel down to walk on it to enter the room, stained furniture (couch is to the point of having to place a towel on the couch to sit on it), multiple light bulbs burnt out throughout, coffee maker with wrong size coffee pot that was too short to allow the coffee to release into the coffee pot (not impressive 1st thing in the morning). The main level hallway bathroom vent fan cover is very heavy with dust that typically equates to the fan motor heavy with dust and this is a fire hazard. The Dining Area has water stains on the ceiling that have been there for a while due to having a dry appearance. I understand that Reservations are booked back to back during peak season however, time must be scheduled for regular maintenance. I have always had great experiences renting through VRBO and I look forward to coming back to Tybee Island, however, I will not rent this property again due to the lack of maintenance.

Laid-Back and Relaxing

This house was exactly what I hoped for. It was clean, roomy and decorated nicely. It was great for myself, my husband, and our three adult daughters along with my "granddogs". It had everything we needed along with extra amenities that I wasn't expecting, and the location was perfect. (Not so close to the beach where the noise was a problem, but close enough to enjoy a short walk to and from the beach and local restaurants) Didn't even have to crank up the car once we arrived. I highly recommend.

Great place but HOT!!

Loved our stay here but the air unit for the entire upstairs was not cooling nearly enough to be comfortable to sleep upstairs! Luckily we had some extra space because it would have been miserable to sleep upstairs. Otherwise, the place is very nice and clean. Tried to contact maintenance but didn’t hear back until the day before we left.

Good location, moldy ceiling, needs deep cleaning

Overall, we liked the place ok. The shower needs a deep cleaning, and there was a big moldy patch on the dining room ceiling. Location was great - short walk to beach, restaurants, and bike rental place. Upstairs never gets cool, so I wouldn't suggest sleeping in any of the bedrooms up there. Found dead bugs in the master bedroom and live bugs in the master bathroom tub. Backyard weeds were taller than our dogs. Yard is only about 7 feet wide and wraps around house. Won't be staying here again but it worked for the short time we were there.

Good location

Convenient location to town and the beach. Just a few blocks walk. The house is very roomy. Bigger than we thought. We will not rent this property again. The AC did not work. The floors were dirty. Carpets stained, dirty and disgusting. Wore shoes always. Master shower is moldy. There were wet towels in guest bath when we arrived. The Conveniency was great that’s it.

Great location

This house is in a wonderful location. We parked our cars and walked everywhere we went. It is spacious and clean. Upstairs was a little hot when we arrived but luckily there was a cool front that came through so it cooled off. Would definitely recommend this house!

Nice home, but needs some TLC

The reservation process was easy, the house is within walking distance to the beach, pier and shops. The house was large enough to accommodate our two families, although it needed some maintenance. The stove had three burners that worked, there weren’t enough dishes and cookware for us (as we planned to prepare most of our meals at the house), and one of the beds was broken. The property’s maintenance man was able to fix the upstairs AC and replace a light over the staircase quickly after several problems were reported with the house. Other issues weren’t remedied during our stay, which was unfortunate. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this location and would go back if the home was a little better cared for.
