“Very accommodating, comfy beds (a real +). Kitchen fully loaded with supplies (including spices and condiments). We spent so much time down on the dock crabbing and fishing. Our dogs loved the freedom and space. Made friends with others in the area and did dog walks with them.”

“The owner was quick to respond, informative, and polite. The property did the job we were asking from it by being near by our family, close to the bay, and being pet friendly. I was not impressed by the cleanliness, but it was not out right dirty or unsanitary. You get what you pay for. Over all we were pleased with our stay!”

“We absolutely LOVED this place! We were vacationing with our two toddlers (ages 2&3) and my sisters family with her two toddlers (1&3) and this place was absolutely PERFECT! We could all still enjoy the beach while our kids were napping because everything was right there! No one had to haul anything to the beach, they had all the sand toys you could want, and more! One step off the porch and you’re in the sand! Loved it! And so did all the kids and adults!! Will definitely be staying again!!”

“The condo was beautiful and exceptional! We had everything we needed and more. It was obvious that time had been taken to think through the processes of what people may need. We recommend this property! We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and screened porch for morning coffee, and happy hour. We were there Monday through Thursday and the town was very quiet. We had jumbo crabs from Linton’s, and took the ferry out to Tangier Island. The cream chip beef “From Scratch” Is very good. On Tangier……

“This condo was spacious and lovely. Nicely decorated and very pristine. The view was amazing as well as the sunsets! Enjoyed the delightful pool overlooking the water and marina. “My party of five went to Reedville to take the tangier Island day trip, and we LOVED this blue crab hideaway! For an older building it was superbly kept up, immaculately decorated and had EVERYTHING you could possibly want for a stay. The hosts are so generous to provide not only all kitchen/cooking essentials, but multiple kayaks/canoes and paddleboat for use, lifejackets, fishing poles, and (though we brought our own) even shower supplies and laundry soap, etc which I feel is above and……

“For 2 busy professionals, staying at this property was restorative, delightful and invigorating. We stopped by a local farm, rode bikes & played golf, rose to the sunrise over the water and took sunset photos on the dock (embarrasing but true) and enjoyed the local crab/seaside fare. It is a casual, rural setting with every detail considered and amazing host communication. A+”

“We loved this quiet property, right on the water. The house was clean and perfect for my mom and me. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was stocked with a lot of stuff. Towels for the beach were provided, along with chairs for sitting on the beach. There is a rinse off area in the back of the house, but to turn the water on you have to go in front of the house. I absolutely would return. ”

“During our stay at The Pearl, we encountered our own boat issues, but the hosts were extremely helpful. Their communication was above and beyond!! The people on the island were also extremely helpful, and they went out of their way to help in any way they could. They all truly wanted us to have a great experience on Smith Island. The Pearl had everything we needed for our stay, and there was plenty of room for us. We took our pet Corgi and she felt right at home and loved the big yard! We CANNOT……

“This is a charming place, full of really nice interior touches. The location gives you access to some great marshland so you are treated to a daily dose of great bird sightings, including ospreys, red-winged blackbirds, herons and others. The house has everything you need. The only advice I would give - to remind guests to clean off the grill when they are done using it. We had to clean it thoroughly as it had obviously not been cleaned in awhile. I suggest you add that to the short list of……
