"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Nice hotel. Stayed in small dog friendly double room on second floor which had a view over the sea. Although we were on the main road. It was very quiet in the evening & overnight so we slept quite well. Unfortunately, we found that we couldn't close the blind as the mechanism seemed to be stuck. Therefore, the light shone through the sides of the window causing the room to be lighter than we would have liked. Luckily, I had a sleep mask with me but my husband woke early as the room was so bright. Although the room was compact we still had enough room to move around & had a good sized on suite. The room was very warm as it was a sunny day & the room seemed to get a lot of sunlight. Good in the winter but I imagine it could get very hot in the summer. Although we didn't have breakfast at the hotel we did enjoy a meal in the bar where they had a dog friendly area. We both enjoyed the burgers. It was nice that they offered gluten free burger buns. We had a good overnight stay & would stay again if we were travelling in that area."
