Bush retreat by the lake
Our brief stay at Lakeshore Lodge was well worth negotiating the stretch of unsealed drive off Tallowood Rd. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed a morning walk in the forest and by the lake seeing the birds and talking to Paul who with Ann has developed a unique place to enjoy this beautiful area.

Great Lake side location. The property is well located to Milton. The breakfast recommendations were bang on! We really enjoyed our stay!

A peaceful pace
Owners were very friendly and informative with knowledge of the local area,
The 2km rocky dirt driveway was not a welcoming sight and caused one of our tyres to go flat but did however help our 4 month old baby girl sleep lol
All in all it was a relaxing place that was away from all the noise of other people and city life.

Worst ever stay in last 12 years
I'm booking hotels last 12 years through WOTIF , but never had a terrible experience like this one.
The owners are quiet picky & so much worried about water and electricity uses they even knocked our door couple of times to tell us what we should do.
No soaps or minimum towels provided, the mattress are pretty old we couldn't even sleep properly.
The unsealed road to the cottage was very bad & will have a flat Tyre any time. Families with kids should avoid this property.
WOTIF should not include this sort of properties to the list....sorry to say that.

Fantastic little hideaway!
Beautiful location. Full kitchen. Woke up to a gorgeous lake view and breakfast surrounding the water. Plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy the location. Nice big rooms. Great comfort in bedroom.

Nice and beautiful
We had a lovely weekend there. The hotel is located at a quiet and nice lakeside. We were not bothered by any noise or too many people. Very ideal for holiday.

A serene and peaceful spot by a lovely lake.
We would go back to this spot. It's peaceful, good facilities and friendly property manager. Needs more signage on the gravel path to the hotel just to reassure first time drivers there that they are on the right track. Overall, a wonderful property for my young family.
