「This location was an overall amazing stay! Nice and quiet, with a very cozy atmosphere both inside and out. Along with the homeowner, Mrs. Janet, being super responsive and attentive during the entirety of my stay. The next time I come back to Erwin, I'll have to make sure I book this location for my next stay!」

「Well furnished, nicely located, and so peaceful! 」

「We left upstate SC that was over 100 degrees and have had no rain in weeks! What a sweet escape to 75 degrees and light rain with intermittent sunshine! House was lovely and had great outdoor spaces. 」

「Check-in was super easy. Entire stay was better than expected. The house was clean, fresh and had a “comfy” welcoming. Kitchen was great. Sleeping was amazing. The surrounding property delightful, full of deer, bunnies, birds. Coffee on the porch watching hummingbirds was a treat. Wonderful experience.」

「My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Fox Den to celebrate our anniversary. The location is conveniently 20 minutes from the nearest town, but just far enough away that it feels very remote. As of July 2025, many of the main parks in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene damage, but that didn't stop us from finding open places to explore, as the Fox Den is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. 「We had a wonderful stay in this immaculate home! The rooms are large yet cozy and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need to cook dinner. My family loved the hot tub. The hosts made sure we had propane fur the grill and even came personally when there was a problem with the AC. The workman came right out and quickly fixed the issue. The communication with the host was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again!」

「The home and surrounding property were perfect for our stay in the mountains of North Carolina. The owners prepared a bouquet of fresh flowers and cookies for us upon our arrival, which was a very nice surprise hurricane Helene took out the stairs leading down to the creek, which made it a little more difficult than we anticipated to get down to the creek, but we found many other things to do, and there are many places in the area where you can access the water. 「Stayed for several weeks and ended up extending our stay at this rental. The cottage wasnt far from town and had an amazing view of the mountains. It was the perfect tiny house stay! The host answered all of our questions quickly and had great communication with us while we stayed. I would highly recommend booking the cottage or with this host.」
