Cozy Lakefront Getaway

This cozy lakefront cottage is sure to make you feel worlds away from it all. It is such an cozy, intimate escape to relax on the front dock, taking in the beautiful view of the lake, or just lounging in front of the fireplace. Disconnect, go fishing, grill up some dinner, go for a round of golf, cuddle up by the fire pit. There's a spectacular view of Lewis Lake at sunrise, can't miss it!

Or if you prefer a little more excitement, the ski slopes are just minutes away.

JUST MINUTES AWAY FROM ELK MOUNTAIN

All appliances are new - as well as pots, pans, utensils, sheets and deluxe linens, comforters, and plush pillows. Plus plenty of board games!

Great for both Summer and Winter rentals.

In the summer, we provide canoe, kayaks, paddle boat (& life vests) for the entire family. There's also badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, bean bag toss, and other yard games for all ages.

Please note: During the winter months, a 4x4 vehicle is STRONGLY SUGGESTED due to mountainous region.

Great for families

This cute lake house was perfect for our family of three and dog. Great fishing off the dock and in the lake via canoe. Amenities were plentiful and we especially enjoyed paddle board, washer/drier, yard & games, hot tub, and fire pit. Kitchen had ample supplies for cooking & dining. Decor was quaint and beds were very comfortable. We’d definitely come back!

Relaxing visit

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing long weekend. The check in process was easy and the house was clean. We enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks out on the water. We appreciated having a nice hot tub right outside as the afternoon got colder. It was nice having wood available to build a fire in the fire pit. I would have liked to stay a little longer.

Fantastic and peaceful lake retreat

If you want to be on a gorgeous lake in a comfortable house in a serene setting, this is it. Host was amazing. I couldn't find the wifi password (which was posted on the wall...) and he immediately replied to help. I briefly lost keys, and he was ready with another set. Seriously, I think I may have been the dizziest guest he ever had but he was gracious and helpful. The house is very comfortable. Kitchen is well-stocked. There are plenty of linens, towels and other comforts available (although you can save a bit by bringing your own towels and sheets if you want). I will definitely be back - this one is really special!

Perfect for relaxation

We could not have asked for a better cottage or location. We wanted to go somewhere and relax, and this was it. It was far enough away to feel off the grid, but close enough to(very cute and friendly) mom and pop’s. Having kayaks and canoes there was amazing, we got to start our mornings with some exploring of the lake. The fish were biting every time we set up on the dock. There is a new hot tub on the property that was not listed, and it was the best way to end the day. The fire pit was a great way to relax after dinner. The cottage is roomy, and stocked with everything you could need. Very kid and dog friendly. They had a blast exploring! The host was extremely polite and friendly, sending us all his favorite places to go, and letting us know all the ins and outs of the place. The host was enthusiastic about his cottage and rightfully so.

New Years Ski Trip

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 8&12) had a great stay! We arrived pretty late the first night and they had the house all lit up so we could find it easily! The house was as described, we found it very comfortable for our family. The kitchen is large and well appointed. The lake views were beautiful and property well maintained. Great proximity to Elk Mountain for Skiing... Definitely recommend!

AMAZING!

This was such a wonderful family getaway! Norbert is a great host! Very kind and easy to communicate with. The cottage is very private and super close to the water. My nephew and i enjoyed kayaking on the lake and we all enjoyed the fantastic view the whole time. Very well appointed, stocked with anything you could need and had new high quality kitchen gagets and appliances. We didn't leave the property from Friday until Monday because we were already in the best place we could be, there was no need to go anywhere else! We really look forward to having a chance to stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Family Fun Ski Weekend

We had a great time over the MLK Weekend for skiing at nearby Elk Mountain. It is a small cozy cabin on the lake. Best if you have an all-wheel or 4-wheel vehicle to get to the cabin from the access road.

Gorgeous and private mountain getaway

This cottage was everything I wanted it to be. The lot is large and private with a beautiful view of the lake and your own private dock. The kayaks and floats were an extra added perk! Would love to come back again.
