"We had a wonderful stay in Galway and highly recommend the Victoria Hotel especially for its exceptional location within the centre . We even hauled our suitcases from the train station as it was only minutes away. Breakfast was fine , bed was comfortable …. Good solid spot in heart of Galway! "

"The property itself is fine and in a nice location. The major issue is trying to access the property for the first time. No door code was provided at the check in time. Couple that with no direct way to communicate. (The phone number is to a service that you have to leave a message and they will call you back.) Amusingly, we were provided with check-out info 24 hours after we left. Horrible comms all around. "

"Great stay for a quick visit to Galway. A bit far if you're planning to spend most of your time in Galway City (had to wait a bit for taxis, buses weren't too frequent) but the village area was lovely and more quiet. Blackthorn restaurant was so delicious! Rooms were a little dated but still very comfortable and clean."
