“What a gem! If you are looking for a charming and affordable place to stay in the London area, look no further. Located in adorable Godalming and a quick 45-min train ride into the heart of London, the Rose and Crown was perfect for our family of 4. We stayed in the Juliet room, which has two separate sleeping areas: a very comfortable queen bedroom with en-suite, and a secluded little Hobbit room for kids (the beds are small, so it’s not ideal for taller teenagers). “We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and……
