“Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!”

“Cabin is in a wooded area and the view from the porch is amazing. Just a walk across the yard to the stairs that lead to the shore. House is clean and well maintained. Kitchen is great for cooking meals and the table is a nice size to enjoy a family meal. Close to parks for hiking. Our questions to the host company did get answered but it took a while. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Confirtable and private cabin. Very quiet with beautiful and peaceful views of the sound. Didn’t venture out on the kayaks due to February weather, however we enjoyed the wildlife including ducks, geese and raccoons. Can’t that host enough for the little thinks like coffee for the mornings. Great location. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.”

“I just needed a place to stay while I was attending a conference at Pack Forest in Eatonville, and I found this location online and it seemed like a perfect fit for my needs. Arrival and check-in was effortless and flexible. Host graciously upgraded me to a larger cabin called the nest, and I found it to be perfect. Nice kitchen facilities, French press coffee maker and well decorated usable space. Building is a gorgeous timber framed design with a deck, outdoor chiminea / fire pit and seating……

“Our week in this beautiful home was perfect. The pictures, though lovely, barely capture its true charm. We felt like we were at home from the moment we stepped inside. The beach was accessible from the house, and with the kayaks and beach equipment, we didn’t need to bring a thing—it was easy and fun. Oysters were plentiful on the pebbly shore; low tide gave us a few hours of fun tide-pooling. The fire pits lured us to stay outdoors well into the evenings. Inside the home, every detail is……

“We enjoyed the opportunity to take a winter break at this comfortable cabin on Wye Lake. Check in was easy and verything we needed was available. The weather was nice enough for a peaceful kayak paddle around the lake.”

“We loved staying in this cabin that truly is right next to the Nisqually River. Sitting out on the porch watching the river flow by is refreshing in the morning and relaxing in the evening. Christine was very responsive and helpful, as well. Somethings future guests should know... 1) The photos are a little deceiving. The cabin is smaller than it appears and not as "bright" as the photos make it appear. 2) The rental is in a remote area which is great for privacy and quiet. It is about 12……

“This house seriously needs improvement. The shower curtain was completely busted, so when we took a shower, water went everywhere. Also, the house has so little venting and so much moisture trapped into the carpets, etc, that if the windows are shut, there is significant condensation on the windows. There is a musty smell, and the beds are very uncomfortable. That said, the location is IDEAL, the beach and swimming pool are amazing, and the place is dog-friendly - all of which are serious……

“Really enjoyed our stay on the island. Comfortable place. Liked having a choice of bedrooms (up or downstairs), and having two bathrooms. We made good use of the kayaks everyday, even when it rained one day. It was difficult to find all the kayak choices since many of the marking on the kayaks are wearing off. We also noted that the one garbage can outside was full when we arrived nd we really struggled to put our own trash in it the we left. It seems it should have been empty when we arrived.……

“Cute, small footprint cabin directly on the water with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a relaxing stay and had the beach to ourselves for nearly the whole time we were there. We fed deer by hand, saw a dolphin and some seals from our deck, and found countless treasures on the beach. A few things to note- it is a studio a frame set up- much smaller than we anticipated from the pictures. The main bedroom is really in the living room right behind the front door with no door or privacy……

“We celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was stocked with cook wear & utensils to cook meals. The beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we really enjoyed kayaking!”

“Was a bit smaller than I anticipated:; more pictures would be helpful. But it is close to the airport and the neighborhood is safe and other than airplanes are very quiet. The property manager was very helpful and very easy to get a hold of they have put TLC into their small space adjunct to their home. My rating would be 4.5 just as a few more visual details would be good.”
