It’s helpful knowing things like setting your gps at least 45 minutes out, specifics about the hot tub, etc.The house is decorated beautifully, has a well-stocked kitchen, and very clean. 「My wife and I booked a stay here to get a relaxing child-free weekend away. We got exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was ready for use, the kitchen was more stocked than I expected it to be, the bathroom shower was nice, and the beds were comfortable. This location is on a literal mountain cliff and you’re going to be driving up steep gravel roads to get to it, so AWD is going to make getting to the stay less stressful. 」

「We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. 」
