“Although we only stayed for one night, it left us with a very deep and wonderful impression. A very good accommodation experience”

“Great little spot, hidden off Route 20. Staff was very accommodating and supportive but I had issues with the WiFi, the size of the shower and unpredictability of hot water, and the fact that the bathroom window is directly across from the shower. Normally, the final point wouldn’t be an issue but the blinds didn’t go all the way down so I felt a bit exposed. I stayed in Room 3. “Very nice”

“We love staying here!”

“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. The room was a little basic but it did have a super refreshing shower. Would stay again because of the nice staff & convenience factor.”

“Nice clean, warm cabin”

“Bar staff was great. Enjoyed meeting the owners and would return ASAp.”

“The property appeared run down and closed as we arrived. When we found a person they shared the ownership just changed in the last couple of weeks. Regardless of that when we booked there were photos of the restaurant and tavern with great reviews and arrived to find it sitting with all sorts of supplies, furniture etc just strewn about. No lights on and staff in and out of rooms open to the outside, smoking while cleaning. The windows barely opened, screens were in disrepair, towels were……
