「Beautiful surroundings and amazing view of the lake. Beds were comfortable but rooms are outdated and need maintenance. Need better signage as its not easy to arrive to the hotel at night. Restaurant staff was always shorthanded. 」

「It was...fine? No stand-out problems; the room was just pretty musty when we got in, and there looked to be quite a bit of mold on the ceiling, and the shower didn't drain well. But for the price, it was pretty good. 」

「Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders).」
