Hostels in Uruguay

"Preço razoável para Montevideu. A higiene deixa a desejar. Hostel assim como hotel necessita de limpeza básica. Talvez homens jovens se sintam mais à vontade na hospedagem. "

"The hotel should be called a youth hostel for it´s strcuture. When we arrived it wasn´t even finished yet and several works were still happening. The room was very poor and dirty, old wall air conditioning, the toilet is very old low quality material. When we complained on the reception the manager was very nice and offered us an upgrade. The room was bigger but still very simple, the bathroom was just as bad as the other one and all the works going on on the hotel made it hard to sleep after...

"Decepcionante, quarto sujo, atendimento ruim, o café da manhã é horrível, pão do dia anterior, leite frio, doce de leite e só, saimos para comprar café, não deveriam dizer que tinha café, a cama com colchão péssimo, muito musquito, sem ar, sem ventilador, ainda bem que tínhamos levado ventilador, detestamos, não recomendo."

"Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders)."

"Hostel rather simply. Open space is very good you can go from room to THE patio with pool. Good for resting, quaet. Big salon. Close to the beach."
